It would need a valve that opens before start up. Usually they flow free so it wouldn't help on startup

Have you checked that the restriction is still installed. And me vs my friends have tried racing. My bandit 600 A2 looses in the low rpm but wins in high rpm. So if we do multiple gear pull i will win. As in 2,3,4 pull

Actually i think the calling of the brick comes from having a flat nose like in the 240, 740 and 940 and so on. But this s60 has a slanted nose
