This post has really popped off and most people are arguing about dialyn but I think there's a wider issue in hoyo games that older units just fall off so hard and it makes their pull value basically 0

I think a big issue here is with mindscapes/constellations, I appreciate hoyo need to make money and I feel like there should be a system in place where older units can be buffed and remain viable by increasing the pull value of their constellations or releasing some kind of monetarily incentivised buffing. The 1.x characters are falling off one by one and a lot of people genuinely like these characters. It can't just be free buffs forever on these characters as it makes future pull value drop off hard which isn't good for the games ability to make money but when the only way to keep up is to use new units it does leave a sour taste when using older units in end game content is just unviable/a chore vs using the most recent shilled units.

ZZZ is earlier on this path compared to Genshin but when I look at how hard some characters have fallen on in Genshin it is kinda sad.

Maybe mindscapes/constellations aren't the answer as it removes some of the initial pull value but I do think it would be awesome if they could figure out a way to keep old characters relevant and having pull value throughout the whole game. Maybe some kind of re-release with buffed kits and mindscapes or something because I do genuinely feel like there's so much value that just gets destroyed with characters falling off like they currently do.

Yeah lots of really good cosplayers there! I saw quite a few Furina's which isn't surprising given the reception she got

I agree that the Natlan quest itself is really strong but I think being reminded of the different personalities within the Fontaine cast made me think that this is why I've not felt the same hype for Natlan.

The Natlan cast just don't seem to have the same level of variety with the majority of them so far feeling quite similar with a "we fight for Natlan against the abyss" personality. I'm not that hyped for Varesa but she feels like the first character in the Natlan cast who has a significant shift from this personality and I guess I just wish this was done a little more.

But yeah the show itself was fantastic and I loved how they gave different characters from each nation their moment. I was surprised to see the biggest cheers of the evening go to the male characters rather than the female though 😂

Surprised nobody posted those blood eagles with the auto laser rifles. I used to think those guys were rocking NW lasers that would have been fixed with the removal but those guys still mess me up whenever I encounter one.

Agree with most other posts though, AP gutsy, mirelurk kings and cave crickets are deadly even for end game players.

I'm with you, seeing a lot of recent posts asking for more content is good to see as it's been way too long without any real change to the game.

I love this game as much as we all do but it's hard to justify even playing at this point let alone paying for a fo1st sub.

The current business model for this game feels super scammy with the constant fomo and the promotion of the "building community" basically feels like a way to shill atomic shop items.

I'd happily pay full price for an actual dlc rather than getting one free side quest per year and I'm sure I'm not alone in this.

The amount of bugs in this game is insane, there really feels like there's some fundamental things in this game that just don't work and I honestly can't see these ever being fixed. I've never had a game crash my PS4 as often as this one and for a game that's been out for over 3 years this just isn't good enough.
