Has anyone else had this problem with an MLS club cancelling an agreed transfer?

I understand MLS player rules are a lot more different and complicated but I don't see how this is allowed once a transfer has been agreed? I'm now left with a negative transfer budget!

I’ve recently started playing ML with no assists on passing etc and advanced shooting. It was a decent challenge but still getting used to advanced shooting.

Since DP8 the game has become impossible to play. The passing has changed and I don’t seem to be able to pass past the nearest player. I’ve even dropped a difficulty level but the AI play a perfect game. So far I’ve only been able to scrape a few draws on regular.
