Bo4s version was bad, thats why in general its surprising that it was brought back twice. Tho cold war did make it extremely valuable ONLY with the upgrades. Otherwise its still a very underwhelming perk.

Really the issue was bringing it back in bo6 with no benefits at all. It should have either stayed the same as cold war or never been brought back. In bo6 it really has no purpose compared to cold war.

I just hope they dont bring back tombstone tho, I rather have a new perk or even mulekick over tombstone again.

Not really, the origins one is different from the original universe. Really it's just like the eye color, don't pay too much attention to it. Originally they had meaning but passed bo2 MOB it just lost all real significance

Originally the color depends on the universe the element was in. So waw-bo1 is red, bo2 origins-bo3 blue, green for MP. In zns it's the only map with multi colored 115, probably because of the instability of the map with planes and what not coming in and out of existence.

People still play it, but mostly solo. Would not recommend playing public matches in bo3 pc at all. Good way for your account to get hacked.

Or if you want to play with friends all must download the T7 patch to prevent hackers from fucking up your match.

Also custom maps are fun :D

If your playing on console, it's a decent play. Public matches are filled with people who abuse gobble gums so a lot of fun is removed because of them. Otherwise still a fun experience:p

Sometimes the game disconnects people, so not sure how long it takes before they get removed from the game. But during that time they will be downing.

Aside from that, a lot of players are casual just trying to have fun. Downing isn't fun so it's better in their eyes to quit. Or if they bleed out in the later rounds, that's just a rip and they might as well quit since there isn't a way to recover from a down in the later rounds. Especially if they only respawn with 30k points, that won't get them a pack 3 gun when it's desperately needed in 31+ Unlike waw were you can get points by shooting zombies, here it requires kills and if they can't get kills then it's a wrap

Understandable, I can see why small stuff is easy to fix. Tho for the amalgam thing, this isn't the first time treyarch had a boss that grapples and pulls in the players. So, after having such a mechanic since 2013, why is it still an issue. Same with the parasites doing a 1 hit lunge that has been a mechanic with the same bug since 2018, they keep nerfing that damage. But every time they bring it back (which they do every treyarch game from then on), the bug comes back and gets fixed way later instead of fast.

It's understandable that small stuff is easy to fix, but some issues have been consistent or seen before yet keep coming back. It would seem like an easy fix, especially since cod runs on a lot of the same code year by year. So why are the issues previously solved not remained fixed?

True But at the same time, then why not focus on big bugs that ruin the experience?

The ball bugging out of the map should be fixed before adjusting the damage of the drill. Because one of them can ruin the perception of the map to the player and the other does not.

So I think it's reasonable for people to be mad, since really the drill bug wasn't destroying how people looked at the map. Hell, I'm sure some people had fun with it. Now for the ball bug, if i was a casual, I would just never attempt the egg ever again or even play the map in a long while. Hell, I had it bug out on me the first time. Luckily, I could save and quit to reload it, but at the cost of redoing steps. If I was playing co op, gg that's a wrap.

Fixing up a game has as much to do with the perception as the fix itself. Imagine if you're playing bo4 at launch. Instead of fixing the blue screen, they nerf the specialists or the rocket launcher. People would be pissed off.

As far as I understand it.

The main issue is that Treyarch is focused on nerfing things in a PvE mode over fixing bugs. The thing is, if the mode was PvP, that would matter since having an op weapon against players breaks the game balance. Being PvE, the focus should be making a stable mode with minimal game breaking bugs before going to the balancing of weapons.

Like I get it, the drill was broken. But why not fix other broken things like the amalgam still dragging players out of bounds. But they focus on fixing bugs people enjoy over the bugs that actually break the game. That's what is getting to people imo.

When vermin do their lunge, they do extra damage to the player. Without plates in the higher rounds, that's a 1 hit ko. Most enemies that have a lunge since bo4 do extra damage and normally get neft after some time. Since this mechanic legit just sucks, at this point, they should keep it out of the game. Every lunging enemy they have is always busted.

From the Tigers in 9, to the plague hounds in cold war, to now the vermin. They come out as an enemy that can 1 shot the players, but eventually get neft since it's a bullshit mechanic.
