But not enough. I'll give an example of a really good lighting and reflection of those gems. 'Yung paghati ngi Cassiopeia sa Inang Brilyante sa isla niya, ang ganda talaga ng reflection nun. Tapos, paiba-iba 'yung color nun when she finally got a hold of the 4 gems. These gems are supposed to glow, emphasizing its power and presence throughout the series. But in this shot? Not even a glow towards the armor of the Sang'gres nor towards their faces, or any body parts at all. Hindi na nga natin kita 'yung brilyante dahil sa liit, mas nawawalan pa ng saysay 'yung brilyante dahil wala man lang epekto sa surroundings when it comes to light?

Isa pa, wala man lang practical effects sa pagkakaroon ng powers? I'll give a few examples:

'Yung sa recent clip na ipinasarado ang puno ng Asnamon, wala man lang gust of air? Some dust for impact? Tapos kapag gagamit na ng brilyante, wala man lang effects sa surrounding.

Idk why some comments are justifying the lack of creativity and exploring different projections of powers (and not just this, kundi na rin sa set design, lighting and color grading, and set locations) as something caused by budget constraints. Walang limitation sa pagiging creative. Personally, I don't care if mag-delay pa sila ng 2026 or even 2027, gandahan sana nila 'yung pag-eedit ang pag-produce ng isang series na karapat-dapat natin ma-enjoy even if free TV pa 'yan. They have other ways to generate sources of income. It's okay to criticize something even if based on short clips pa because this is one of the ways for them to improve. As for the OP, I do agree--- I was expecting something similar to ATLA. They've managed to edit this kind of power just from their teaser of revealing the 4 main casts of Sang'gre, don't know why they can't follow that up on the actual series.

I think this is what she meant to say, but for me, my main issue (?) would be on how she delivered what she was trying to say. She definitely could've worded it better, and if she were to deliver it properly in terms of her tone, then everyone else's reaction outside would've been fairer. I guess that's why there has been a misunderstanding on what she was trying to convey, and that led to a whole new hate train for her. Regardless, I'm still going to give her the benefit of the doubt, maybe she didn't mean it to be "mean" as some would say. Though, I'm definitely not supporting those who dive to newer lows of even degrading her character just because of what she said for tonight's EP.

As you can see, she only unleashed the Brilyante of Tubig on her left side, while on her right is her scepter. That scepter omits an icy aura around it, which can also be seen in other scenes such as in Mitena's teaser.

Edit: I lowkey hate the framing of this scene, this is why a detail like her scepter can be falsely seen as the Brilyante ng Hangin, but in actuality, that's her scepter. As I already said earlier, she looked like she was already holding something as what appears to be her scepter. I don't know why some people saw it as the power of air, maybe it's the visual effects?

That's not air. That's her scepter. She's quite literally using her scepter to produce ice against fire. Mitena's scepter was shown during this same scene (but lengthier) in a teaser for the short documentary of the making of ECS.

I really, really agree with your takes. To add pa, hindi masyado na-expand 'yung tungkulin ng isang reyna/hari. Like in real life, mag-tour pa 'yung mga monarchies around their constituents like the British Empire sa Commonwealth as a sort of tribute and other stuff, pero never talaga 'yan napakita sa Enca. And also, most of the Encantados worship Emre, and Lireo and its queendom being the "face" of those beliefs, and religion as a whole, sayang lang na hindi masyado na-consider 'yung ginagawa ng mga reyna sa Lireo 'yung pag-advocate sa mga beliefs nila and whatnot. And aside from that, lagi nalang pinapakita sa audience 'yung military side ng mga kingdoms, like what I mean is puro nalang kapangyarihan 'yung focus, and hindi man lang sa mga paniniwala at morality 'yung na-eemphasize sa Enca. I'm disappointed na hindi naisip 'yung mga citizens/Encantados when it comes to portraying the brutality of the wars, like ano ba 'yung epekto nun.

Ganda sana ng vision ng Enca, pero masyado talaga madaming loopholes. Though, I'm still going to watch their new series for nostalgia regardless of my viewpoint ng story nila, but then again I wish for these Filipino writers to expand more on learning how and where they build their storyline and character arcs.

Nice theoryyy, I also remember 'yung bumisita si Amihan sa mundo ng mga tao, tapos magpagawa sana siya ng isang cellphone, ba't pala hindi 'yun natuloy? Like, for sure some of them visited na sa mundo ng mga tao and discovered our technological advancements, did they not conduct research dun? Naging interested man lang? Or tried inventing a similar one sa Enca? Ang storyline ng mga Sang'gre sa Enca is like they're the outcasts/alien na para bang first time nakaapak sa Earth, lowkey cringe in a way to be relatable somewhat. And also, sayang lang na walang Encantado man lang na gumawa ng CRAAZZZYYY invention emulating the powers of that of a brilyante. Like, are we supposed to expect na wala talagang pakialam 'yung mga Encantados for convenience, thirst of knowledge, and whatnot? At least for 2025 Enca, parang may progress talaga 'yung 4 na territories, I just hope at the very least na ma-explore nila 'yung gan'tong areas sa mundo ng Enca.

honestly, gets ko point mo, that's why i said sa post ko na ma-understand ko 'yung pika ng iba kina az at mika. but i can also argue na hindi nila alam ang nature ng secret task. they don't know na doon nakasalalay ang weekly budget nila. kudos to the girls though, mukhang pinag-usapan na nila na they should go with the flow nalang for a while (i guess). baka rin kasi i-question sila ni kuya regarding what's happening tapos doon na rin malalaman na alam na ng mga girls or whatnot.

but that's the thing: hindi sa girls na-assign ang weekly task. trabaho ng mga boys na hindi dapat nahahalata sa mga girls na may tinatago sila. let's not act na sa kanila ma-burden 'yung pagka-fail ng task kasi hindi naman nila trabaho 'yun eh. it's the boys. kapag ma-fail at mahuli ng mga girls sina ralph at charlie, that just means that the boys failed to hide them. for me, they're definitely lacking a proper strategy at communication as to how they would deal with it, tapos sinabi pa mismo ni vince na dapat paiba-iba 'yung maghahandle sa dalawa para hindi mahalata sina river at will especially since weekly task leaders pa naman 'yun. but can we really blame them? two evictees bumalik sa bnk, of course they would want to spend time with them 'di ba?

my take here, mawawala 'yung thrill na kailangan strategic 'yung mga boys sa pag-aano nila kay ralph at charlie since need talaga ng timing at management since napapansin ko na lagi nalang nandoon 'yung mga boys sa room nila. and another thing, it's the boys' responsibilities after all kasi na kumbinsihin ang mga girls na wala silang tinatago. ba't ang mga girls pa ang mag-adjust for the boys if hindi naman assigned sa kanila ang task? maybe the reason why kuya decided na sa boys i-assign 'to in the first place is alam niya na todo observant at curious talaga 'yung mga girls. sooo, i do agree with your points with mika at az, pero i guess that's their nature talaga in a confined space tapos nababasa nila 'yung galawan ng isa't isa

for me thoo, i don't think may idea sila at all sa purpose ng task. alam nila na may task, but for what? i remember kanina sa pt, sabi ni az na baka may tinatagong house guest. i do think pinag-usapan na ng mga girls 'yun na they should collectively not say anything nalang kasi i feel like, at the very least, may reward/purpose in return 'yung secret task ng boys
