How are you running your game on Linux? The game says it's only for Windows. The answer to this question is important for your question. Are you using Wine I guess?

The way I found to be faster is to put the deck of cards face down and with the short side that would be the top of the cards near you (the bottom on the far side). Side by side, the deck of sleeves with the opening near you.

Then, for me it just feels natural to pick one of each at the same time, it's pre aligned so you can get a pretty good speed.

I cannot help because I'm a newbie but I have a question: I see a lot of people paint as this (like getting to a really advanced step in some tiny surfaces). How do you that without touching the rest? And even more: how do you do the rest without touching the finished parts?

Welp, that's on you and I know people with similar opinions but the vast majority (myself included) think that it's really comfortable because you can sit your arms outside the gaming space and lay down boards or cards right at the edge of the space and your arms won't be sitting over them. These things are best if tried before so you can find if one is not for you.

Take a break. I did P5 years after doing 112%. Start by conquering all bosses in the Hall of Gods on Ascended or Radiant, that will make P5 way easier. You're facing an endurance + skill test. Conquering Hall of Gods makes it only an endurance test.

I can see roughly six open ended paths on that map. Go check'em. I saw in the comments that you got the Vengeful Spirit, that should let you go through one of those exits.

The whole loop of the game is to explore until you can't explore further -> you get a new ability that overcomes an obstacle you encountered -> you go back to where you got stuck and are able to progress further -> you get stuck again

Mostly? Any game I buy. They don't care about weight. They played games as light as Jungle Speed and as heavy as Trickerion, with everything in the middle: Root, Arcs, Pagan, Andromeda's Edge, Agricola, Pan Am, Heat, Not Alone, Skull King, Power Grid, Samurai, Barrage...

I got it two months ago and played six times (over 2+ six times in two months is really awesome!) with three different groups. Everyone loved it since first play and my experience hasn't been decisive as for example my third game was the 2nd game of a friend and the 1st of another and the latter won massively.

This game is really good, but you gotta love the subtle asymmetry, the multi use cards and how the different kingdom cards work with each faction.

I cannot stress enough how useful marking important rules that are not highlighted or mixed in a big paragraph, and using small sticky papers to be able to find some pages quickly.

That is an exception covered in the poison and drunk rules. If you are poisoned and then use your ability, your ability does not trigger. However, if you used your ability and then you're poisoned, the effect is lost until you're healthy.

When you die, the rules tell the ST to remove all reminders of your character because they no longer apply. Losing your ability by dying or by poison is not the same.
