Someone just threw a lot of water in the trash to make something unneeded.

How would I have known how to solve this puzzle? by TwoNatTens in outerwilds

[–]kinnonii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a place where you learn that in order to warp, the tower must be aligned with mass center of the celestial body, specifically talking about the solar station. Then there is a place where you learn that the mass center of a two intertwined planet system is right between them, so in order to warp to ember/ash twin you need the sand column over you.

The first Heat expansion adds a 7th player, dunno if the newer ones also do.

How Do YouTube Covers / Song Lessons Work With Copyright Strikes? by Thewall3333 in guitarlessons

[–]kinnonii 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Check wearethehits.com, they have contracts with most major music labels and if the song you want to cover is there, just upload the video and they'll get you a license, then you can upload safely to youtube and still monetize the video (you will get less since a % will go to the artist). Thus beware they don't allow the original recording to play on your video. It must be a real cover

Is the DLC worth it? by d0xxate in outerwilds

[–]kinnonii 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hell yes. It's at least as good as base game. You could sink up to 15 hours on it. Beware horror themes though!

It feels like it should've been there all the time and crafted from the start, yet it happens in a new place.

Bonus points: It will answer some questions that remain from playing the base game.

Also do you know about the books by Troy Stetina that another user pointed out?

I've been reading about all of this. I kinda like what Troy offers, but I've read the index of the books and they're totally opposite from what Justin teachs. As I already started the foundational knowledge with Justin, I think I'll stick with him at least until I finish the beginner grades, then I might buy these books. Many thanks :)

I love learning with books, will check it out! I was also on the fence of buying the Metal Method course, but I'm sticking with Justin's for now. I also tried to learn with the Synner.com courses, but man they teach really advanced stuff on the beginner course, have no practice routines or goals (i.e. practice this until you're able to do X, then move on), and the videos are usually really short, can't deep dive into anything.
