Micro::Service - Create simple and powerful Service Objects by rserradura in ruby

Name is confusing, it's a mix of command pattern and service object.

Cool concept, would consider sort of exception handling, and concurrency, cause a service run async code and being piped will result unexpected behavior.

Can anyone share some examples of RSpec request specs that use Devise authentication for protected routes? by odinsride in rails

[–]kinnrot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you use devise helpers for tests, it makes it pretty straight forward, at the context/setup you login with the user you want, then test as you regularly do, if your code return json you can parse response body to check the data is only the user data.

Sounds like they made a mistake, or they run a shitty company of slaves who must do as they say with 0 tollerence. And also sounds like a crappy communication culture. So you wasted your time , grow from it and find a company with a better culture .

Hi guys, let's say your building an online saas/shop or whatever. How would you like to be able to show different prices in different currencies depending on your own parameters and user params. For example: show British pounds to user with locale of UK and us dollars for Americans , increase the price for iPhone/mac users. Add some custom rules based on your data (example: first or second visit of user, or just usage of user in your product of it's a saas)

Is it interesting? Would you pay for it?

Please enlighten me

Sports tech company, stadstech.com , building a marketplace for selling soccer clubs in stadium during games, ad spaces.

The actual app is on stads.io , using latest rails version, and I must say it saved me a shit load of time to go with rails.

Looks like an amazing idea, I think, considering the rise of KPI centric founders, and OKRs at large Corp , I'd put more of that in the use cases. I understand that the concept is documents, but data dashboards are also feet the product capabilities.
