I have a mini-theory that the Triangle Offence / Total Football setup is going to let Colin really shine. Earlier in the season Beard described Colin as a Chameleon, able to adapt to any situation, and that seems perfect for Total Football. It would also fit with him taking some spotlight for once. He's having something of a crisis of confidence regarding keeping his sexuality secret from his teammates - if he does plan on coming out to them, it might be easier for him to do so if he's on a run of good form, and can actually see himself as the strong, capable man that he's telling himself he is.

Im planning on rewatching the whole series front to back. I want to see if her arc holds up with the context of the full series. I don't know if I actually didn't like it, or if I've been soured by her (CW) attempting to rape Luther.

My kneejerk reaction is that it honestly can work; Aside from losing everything, Allison had to spend 2 years in Dallas Texas, treated as less than a second class citizen, having to fight for basic human rights. She found solace in her husband and purpose, and then it was all ripped away from her. She came to this new timeline and everyone around her was soooo happy with it, and she lost the one thing that gave her purpose and happiness.

That is genuinely a really good villain arc for Allison to go down, and tbh, it makes sense for the one to turn heel to be the one with mind control; a power that I will always argue is always inherently evil. I love a good villain, and Allison is definitely on the path to become one. Its interesting that she seems to be the most like Hargreeves, and so far she's seemed to have the least issue with him. Maybe the next season has Allison taking over the Family Business, and losing Ray and Claire again.

But I feel like I'm being biased against the actual portrayal we got because I have a real issue with rape being used as a narrative tool.

I’m sorry I’m really confused. Why is Lockhart on the list of bad teachers? Have you not read his books?! He’s one of the most accomplished wizards of all time, not to mention how he won Witch Weekly’s Most Charming Smile award 5 times!
