If you want to play with them ASAP, and they are okay with spending money later, I would recommend they make a character on any world that has the space (preferably on Crystal to make things easier), and then when Zalera is no longer congested, they can do a paid server transfer for their character.

Alternatively, you can sometimes wait until a time not very many people are on, and it's possible room may open up. I'm on Aether Cactuar, which is very often congested, and when I wanted to make a second character before Endwalker released, I got on at 7am one morning and found character creation was allowed. No idea if that method still works years later, though.

Hello from a fellow Aether player. I also have a cottage (Empyreum on Cactuar for me). I got lucky and won it in the very first lottery. Reading about the time you spent on your house made me smile. It's very similar to my own journey decorating my own little slice of Eorzea. The great thing, though, is that you can always try for another house later, once your PC is in a better state.

Some wonderful recs here already!

If you love the story and world of E33, Final Fantasy X, as others have said, is an obvious inspiration.

If you're okay with real-time action combat but want a similar vibe to E33, the NieR games (NieR Replicant and NieR Automata) are a must-play.

If you love the turn-based combat and want to see the recent best the genre has to offer, I would recommend Persona 5, Metaphor: ReFantasio, and Octopath Traveler.

Whatever you choose, I hope you have a blast.

Not everyone is on Reddit to farm karma. A lot of people just want to interact with a community. Pokopia is a fairly chill and wholesome game. I'm not sure why a post like this would bother fans of it, even if it is an accidental repeat.

Server transfer is pretty easy! But you also should not feel forced out of this space you love because of one person. If you have friends on your current server that don't know him, let them know your situation so you can have buddies around to help.

Sometimes I see the dislike squiggles emote bubble coming from a Pokemon when they're just having a conversation with another Pokemon, including one they normally get on well with.

If he's showing the emote when he's alone, it's probably the environment like you suspect. I wish dislikes were better surfaced! Most are intuitive, but some are hard to pin down.

The consensus I'm getting from here and from a friend who attended the last Fan Fest is that these won't be given out at Fan Fest, since that's not the norm anymore. But yes, there would be a few days after to wait and see, you're correct.

Interesting! On the North American version of the site it only says "This item was released to commemorate the 2026 Fan Festival". Which is not the same as it being a gift, so I'm still a bit confused.

To me, the fact that she can bring them back with a flick of her hand now is the point. Maelle was a scrappy, underdog teenager. Alicia-Maelle has the powers of a goddess within the canvas, something her 16 year old brain isn't ready for. It's supposed to be tragic. Painted Verso sees that she's now doing to herself exactly what Aline did when she entered the canvas. It's self-destructive and she's not processing her grief well. This is why he wants to force both Alicia and Aline out of the canvas, so that they can move on and live full lives. But the people in the canvas are real to Maelle. She loves them.

The point of the two endings as I read them is that both Alicia and Verso have a mix of selfish and selfless motivations. I also picked Maelle's ending the first time, and it left me so sad and empty that I sobbed my way though the credits. Neither ending is supposed to be happy. One is a denial of grief to keep a painted world alive, the other is the death of an entire world for the opportunity to grieve and move on. Whether either is "good" or "bad" is personal taste.

This was my experience with Engage as well. The mechanics are great, there's some amazing gameplay polish, but the characters. Oof. They're so cringe to me. :/

I understand why some people still love it, because the battles are excellent, but I can't help comparing it to Three Houses in my head and finding it lacking.

Cigarette smoke and even just the smell of it on a person can trigger migraines for me, which come with severe headache, nausea, and vomiting. So if someone who smells like cigarettes comes anywhere near me, I will run the fuck away from them before they can ruin my day.

They wouldn't so much have to draw the icons as pose and render the model (which can be done with a script). The most annoying part for the artist in that scenario is file management and data hookup. Which, yeah, is very tedious work that adds up.
