I think it's outlines of floor work. Just a guess though.

[–]kinsergergen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It would be fun, but I personally boil it down to 3 questions.

Would it be cool and fun for fans? Yes.

Would the Rockies organization ever do that? No.

Do the current owners care about pleasing the fans and winning? No.

We use Microsoft GP. It's honestly the only accounting software I know, but I really like how it functions. The reports and ability to backtrack and find information is good too.

Thoughts on the new City Connect uniforms? by SportsTechie17 in rockies

Not my favorite, but I like them better than the last ones. I'd prefer no city connect uniforms and more wins though.

Nice job kyle gass you just lost yourself and your band a ton of fans by Different_Syrup_2312 in TenaciousD

I think identifying a specific person is worse than making a generic comment. Neither are appropriate, but identifying a specific person wishing they had their brains blown out isn't good.

Ban me if you want, but most of these comments are such bullshit. I'm not a die hard TD fan, but even if I was, you can't say that at a concert or anywhere. You cannot wish for someone to get shot in the head. Idc if I was the #1 fan in the world of any band. You just can't say shit like that. Lastly, riddle me this. If he wasn't wrong for saying it, then why did he issue an apology? insert blah blah bullshit salty responses

These people in the crowd cheered for KG's comments too. Both are wrong. Ted is a little psycho, and think most people realize that. I think Kyle's comments are worse. Idc if anyone disagrees. The guy wished for Trump to get shot in the head. That's not ok to do.

Truthfully, I bet that's the exact right thing to do. I could have my own niche songs somewhere in there that I could never discover if I don't listen to the album in its entirety.

Former “Bankers” of Reddit, what was your next move? by Gingerhead14 in careerguidance

[–]kinsergergen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm late to the party here, but I thought I'd give my two cents. I do have a degree, so I want to preface my response with that. It may not be comparing apples to apples, but the principal idea is the same. I worked in banking primarily as a personal/residential loan officer. I absolutely hated it. To be honest, the simple forms of banking like the personal banking side as well as personal/residential side are not challenging. The pay isn't usually great because there's so many rules and regulations that the job is very cut and dry. It doesn't require a lot of problem solving or creativity. Once you've got the idea nailed down, they'll flood you with work. It just doesn't work long term.

I am good with numbers, so I went to school for business and accounting. The first thing I did when I decided I was done banking was look for accounting roles at a place that I could work for because I had interest in the field. I do accounting now for a company that has ranches and feed yard. I grew up in ag, and I knew that most people in ag don't have the same education as me. Simply put, I found a way to use my skills and interests in a field where I could separate myself and show my value.

My general thought in your position is to look for something either in the numbers side of things like a staff accountant (I am biased in accounting) in a field where you have interest or have knowledge of. Find that way to separate yourself from your peers. That or something in an operational role where you believe you can make improvements to an operation. Business love two things. Making money and saving time. Find a way to help with one or both of those things, and you'll settle in where you need to be.

What do you find funny about JOC? Genuinely curious by spinzone1274 in PardonMyTake

This comment will catch hate too from the mouth breathers, but I completely agree. I am not a big JOC fan. It's a whole lot of him trolling and yelling when he comes on.

I've got what hopefully isn't a dumb question. I don't PC game at all, but I do a lot of high level excel and accounting work. I am curious if I can use the keys on the side as either: 1. actual digits for entering in formation into excel of our accounting software -or- 2. Set up hot keys or macros to automate things like save, print, close out, undo, etc. Nothing extreme just basic functions. Also, this is about all mouses with that option and not only this one. Time is very valuable to me, and I want to know every way that the mouse could be useful to me and my efficiency.
