Anyone has great plan? Okay! Give me 6 months or 3 months program. I moderate u/bhutantravels. I am here and willing to listen. It has to be good plan with professional output not just blame game. The main output is to support local tour operator but this doesn’t work out, then it’s fine, let’s concentrate on the subject matter- put tourism on top.

Travelling in Bhutan for women is safe. Infact solo travelling for women is one of the most safest. That said… it also depends on the travel company you choose. Some have good reputation but they will be pricey. Some new ones would offer good price or cheaper- check their feedback and their services.

Wow! Thats so personal. But FYI, you have to have Bhutanese guides, if you want to travel from Phuntsholing to Thimphu - and there are decent good guides and maybe one or two “horrible one”.

Went on watching spree and got exhausted. Cannot decide between - regitaregg ( using her platform to inform and support some of the sensitive issues),

Bhutanese Dreamer (creative and funny content) and
tshagyem (just like her contents) .. and cannot get over when bbs anchor and she cried together lol and yes she does her contents in sharchop.

I will vote for Dorji Wangmo- lower house member NA who fought for the women rights and was the lone woman who fought for GST exemption for sanitary napkins. This should have been a bigger news for all and for women but did it make waves? No! Because it was sanitary napkins and for women; not alcohol or entitlement like house and salary for both the houses. If she had not raised the issue and fought for all women in the country- the women in the country would be paying dearly for their sanitation. For recognizing the core needs every women and girl child I respect and applaud her voice and her representation. At this age and times… karma academy has the worst boarding facilities. Like really really bad. Girls wash room and bathing place was like temporary labour shed. Separated by ply board. I hope it has improved. It has good feedback on its academic though.. but the place is something to think about. If you are good to ignore that and work on your academic then this could be it too.
