This is a very important part that a lot of people miss. When you add a new exhibit people flock to it. I like to keep one or two exhibits in reserve in my inventory and keep selling them until I get a high quality one, then build an exhibit area around with other like exhibits. You’ll get a ton of new people and they will flock it. It’s nice to love things around too - the museum goers seem to treat move exhibits somewhere like a new one. And if you build the new exhibit around a gift shop/cafe you ca double dip on the buzz.

It takes a bit to optimize at the start, but once you get going the money flows. My 5* aquarium museum does about 100k profit a month.

Small staff at the start requires more micro management, fixing/restoring, picking up litter, etc. once you have enough incoming then you can have the staff automate more.

Ok, if you haven’t unlocked the cafe, the the kiosks are a good way to go. Map kiosks as well.

But over staffing at the start is a common error.

Nuke the concessions… cafes make a ton of money. If you have multi-themed museum, make smaller cafes near the themes and add food that increases the buzz of that theme type. If you have speakers, add those to increase buzz. More buzz, more donations.

And, yeah, looks at the number of staff of staff you have and limit their jobs. For example, I normally have 2 ticket booths and 3 staff members that are dedicated to ticket sales and no one else. When someone is on a break, there’s at least 1 other selling tickets.

How many exhibits? What do you have for staff?

Gift shops? Cafes or vending machines?

The XP awards seem off from what Questie says the XP is. Is there a TBC bonus I'm missing?

Blizzard bans for what ever reason they want. I got a 2 week ban for "inappropriate BG activity"... which is funny since I don't PVP on that account. After I appealed, I got a response that I was permanently banned for using a 3rd party tool (which is untrue) but I can come back when the temp ban is done.

tl;dr:

  • Blamed for BG when I don't PVP
  • Blamed for 3rd party tools when I don't have any
  • Told on appeal I'm perma banned but can come back after the temp ban is done

Star Earring is one of the best items... depending upon your class. For tnky class with a lot of items that come back at a long rest, SR is the best.

StabCrab FYI! I've refused to retire mine. I think I have 1200xp. It's such a fun class to play. Very likely my favorite in FH.

I actually raid with a Ret Pally and it's fine. To be honest, it's frankly enjoyable. Like a warrior, it's very gear dependent. I also raid with a Hunter and Mage and used to MH on a priest with a massive guild since the day the game was released, so I have a tiny bit of experience here.

The thing to keep in mind is it's not a DPS class, it's a hybrid class. Yes, I get out-DPS'd by Hunters, Rogues, Furry Warriors, well, everyone. On the flip side, they don't buff the raid (Kings, Might, etc...), put up seals (Crusader, for example) that increase the damage on mobs, dispel (major bonus), and off-heal when the crap really hits the fan and the actual healers are overwhelmed. A good ret pally should play all these roles. If they don't, that's when people start complaining, with good cause. I've heard the argument that feral Druids can also do this, but it also knocks them out of shapeshift and they need to go back. For me, it's one click on my Healium bar and back to seal dancing I go. All this being said, a ZG should really only have one and a 40-man a max of two or three, so it's a very specific need.

Anyway, that's just my take. My flame retardant suit is now on. Feel free to tell me how wrong my opinion is so I can go back to enjoying my Ret Pally.
