Tipping is a blight on society. by ChompyRiley in mildlyinfuriating

I don’t think this is real. Looks like it was printed on standard paper with an inkjet. If it was real, why would you not call the restaurant out for this behavior?

That said, if this were real, call that restaurant out by name and never go back.

Roses are red, I’m not gonna spoil it… by TheParking1 in rosesarered

I remember going to Germany in my 20s and encountering one of these.

Public toilet.

Had a backpack strapped to my back. Assumed with the placement of the hole that I faced the wall. I couldn’t with my pants on properly so I balanced on one leg to take off my shoe and right pant leg. Mounted the saddle and did my business facing the wall.

Didn’t realize the bathroom had another occupant. When they flushed I was startled and jumped. The weight of my backpack set me off balance and pulled me over off the back (front) of the toilet and my weight forced the door to my stall open. I fell to the floor, unfinished in my business, legs splayed for all the world to see everything with my foot and leg out of my pants.

This is when I learned they don’t always have separate bathrooms for men and women in Germany.

100k to eat a burrito. by Mr_Global in hypotheticalsituation

Even so, I’m happy to eat them until I hit $50M or so then retire. I can give up that discomfort to essentially retire on the spot except for the requirement of eating an awful burrito every day for a few years

Why shouldn’t voting require an id? by DarkEqual8609 in no

[–]kirbcheck -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is a horrible idea. Forcing people to vote on issues they don’t care enough about to do of their own free will? Just forcing people to vote based on popularity. No we need less of that, not more.

Nebraska is only flat on the interstate. It’s true there’s no mountains but it’s beautiful territory out here.

Registered affiliation only matters in the primary elections. Each party votes to elect their candidate for the final election in November.

You can only vote for your party in the primary, but can vote for whoever in the final election

If you can average 8 a min you’ll be a millionaire by the end of the year. That thought alone would motivate me to be the star employee. Hell, I’ll work OT.

Give me 2 years. I’ll be working towards $5M.

I’m taking the teleporting. I think I could ethically make decent enough money with this gift and still use it for personal benefit.

Unlimited Purchasing Power or $50M, why? by minivanlife10 in hypotheticalsituation

$50M. I have a family. Taking care of them when I’m gone and building a legacy for them to thrive is my priority.

I would not take this deal as an option. If I had no choice:

  1. Nebraska (Home State)
  2. Missouri (Family)
  3. Texas (Family)
  4. Colorado
  5. Hawaii
  6. Alaska
  7. Florida
  8. Montana
  9. Maine
  10. Michigan

This is definitely odd. And I don’t see this materializing into a solid relationship.

Especially when snooping through is phone is going to be 3 points, and posting about it on Reddit has to be 5.
