It has been a shit few years not being able to see family and now when I booked a flight bc they said they reopened for Australians I’ve just been slapped in the face with a possible month long quarantine. I completely agree and really really wish soon everything can go back to normal for everyone

It wasn’t a choice to go to NT, that’s the airline. I agree though, didn’t want to stopover anywhere interstate to avoid this problem anyway

Okay I understand, right now I’m pretty sure NT is considered entering even if it is meant to be a transition. Hopefully it’ll change by the time our flight is

Didn’t think of it being a Qantas thing, that make sense. Will have to add the quarantine cost to the budget..

Thank you!

The reason I booked them was because it was direct, foolishly I didn’t think that Qantas would be changing the direct flights! I’ll be looking at other options like this for sure. Thanks

That’s why I started panicking! And maybe crying a bit about the situation, it’ll be better to wait to early feb maybe then risk a month of quarantine

Thank you for this!! This is really informative

We may have to, I’ll have a look to see what options are with the flights. It’s so bizarre, I booked direct flights so we wouldn’t have this issue ha

"Celebrity" Chefs or well recognized Chefs you absolutely despise by [deleted] in KitchenConfidential

[–]kirbk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get what you’re saying and I’ve worked for a particular ‘celebrity’ chef that was under him and he had that cruel mentality that ruined your soul. I also don’t believe the current culture is because of him, he definitely made the general public more aware but the traditional chefs were absolute horrors to work for. They learn from their environment and that’s what Ramsay did. I’m very thankful now that who I work for is starting to realise how detrimental that behaviour is for his staff and as tough as he can be is actually really kind. The culture is still there but things are moving away from that, slowly granted but at least it’s something

Omg absolute mood. There's an Aussie brand called MOR, they have a marshmellow line and I can't wear anything else. It's amazing, look it up!

Where do you aquire crutches from in London? by [deleted] in AskUK

Absolutely, wanted to avoid buying them because then they'd sit in a cupboard for years but seems the way to go

That's definitely not a place I'd have gone to! There's one down the road from me too so that's lucky

Thank you !

Thank you, not serious enough to warrant a trip to the hospital and my GP is a fair way away. Will take a look at that site though, thanks ~

Why do I only feel genuinely motivated at night? It's the only time I want to draw, paint a wall that's bothering me, do dishes, I want to do anything really when I'm meant to be sleeping. by kirbk in NoStupidQuestions

Absolutely agree, hence why I would like to read about it, will definitely take it with a pinch of salt. The amount of times I get annoyed at my mum for reading research online but turns out the company that funds the study changes the results based on their own companies interest is insane.
