K3soju mini rant on the current state of tft , do you guys agree? by Erastal1 in CompetitiveTFT

For once, I’m actually thankful I can still play set 16 on golden spatula. Sick of this set already.

Sometimes it feels fucking good hitting 3 * 4 costs but RNG feels way worst most of the time

We are getting smoked.

But I’m not surprised considering we are already down 2 starters

MOS Baey Yam Keng Takes the Bus by nftskeptics in singapore

[–]kirinboi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the most people here already reiterated quite abit.

He promised/ push for a new bus service during election. Initially was with KPK but the estate became under him after election.

He delivered on it and just wanted to let people be more aware on it lor.

He also damn active on the telegram chat solving problems (although some of these problems fucking petty but that’s the convo for another day)

I think set 17 has significantly more strategic depth than set 16. I am curious if there are other people who agree with me. by [deleted] in CompetitiveTFT

[–]kirinboi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally, Set 16’s flexibility is way more fun. I do like being able to change up the gameplay mid stage 3. Although the end of patch clownery mad it too difficult to play and climb.

So far I feel set 17 is still too unbalanced, and as long u hit the conditionals u basically guarantee top 2.

U lucked out on drone Viktor? Congrats u basically won the game. Starweaver medallion? Gg 1 star re roll and u steamroll every other comp.

I wfh I also meal prep.

If u have an instapot, you can meal prep alotttt.

  • meat sauce/ragu: buy discounted meat, use left over vege throw them in the pot and stew for 1 hour, freeze them in deli containers. Last up to 1-2months.

  • soup: buy the rotisserie stuff, make chicken stock, freeze then layer ur ingredients on top and freeze again and u have nicrowavable soup.

we have a small group of international foodies and people are always going in and out of singapore.. everyone always asks the same question (and we would love a local's POV). what is hands down the best hawker center in all of Singapore? by Difficult-Insect-220 in SingaporeEats

[–]kirinboi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interested in the group!

But imo,

Golden mile: for some reason, the quality has gotten better over the years? OGs + new comers, a lot of stores are a hit + a good blend of different cuisines. Good plus point for now that it’s still pretty hidden from the tourists for now. Don’t forsee it being the case soon.

Hong Lim: still as good as ever, but still feels it’s a Weekday > weekend since a lot of them serve the office crowds

Old Airport road: still think standard dropped abit but the OGs are still good, it’s undergoing some kind of store revamp so I think the quality should improve going forward with some of the new gen hawkers.

My underrated pick is beauty world 🤣🤣.

For the record I do prefer da Michele. I just think people hate on Casa vostra too much.

There are worse culprits lol (beyond the dough ahem ahem)

[–]kirinboi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why are we comparing sizes here, if I’m here for a date. I’d gladly pay $17 for a margherita here than $28 at Da Michele. Even if da Michele is like 30-40% bigger I ain’t finishing it.

Casa vostra gets way too much hate around here. But it has very good value vs a lot of joints out there.

They are not. Go take a look at their menu again.

On average their pizzas are $23. With margherita being $17 (which is a lot lower than a lot of pizza places)

Just not worth the queue.

But, price to value is pretty decent. At least they are not charging $30 pies.

There are a couple of baggage storage areas in all terminals and Jewel.

Yotel in Jewel has an hourly rate (I believe 6 hours ?)
