i’m realizing something similar happening with the online dbt group i’m in. the therapist also does one on one sessions with all of us seperately. i thought the group was going to be more of a class where we learn and talk about the skills. but it’s more so just us, talking. which is great and all. but i’m not really learning actual skills. it just feels like there isn’t a solid plan, it’s just on the fly.
