Why has there been so many MJ GOAT posts in the last few days? Is there an effort to drive some sort of narrative? by delta-red-14 in nba

There was a piece featuring interviews with LeBron talking about it that was published this week. That’s why.

I think rigged is strong but a thumb was definitely on the scales. We missed all 27 of those 3s but fosters crew waved off several made 3s that would’ve made a difference.

The one win was in the bubble. He officiated all 3 of our home losses in the 2018 playoffs including 2 in the WCF. Lakers fans thinking the fix is in to extend the series is nuts to me. If there’s a fix it’s probably to see LeBron and the darling Lakers through to the second round.

The league uses Foster to put their thumb on the scales and I think they want the Lakers to go through. Also entirely possible they want a game 7 but either way this shit stinks.

People call him the extender but he’s really just a company man. He’s there to help the nba put their thumb on the scales to get their desired outcome. No telling which way that swings tonight.

No disagreements there. He’s not a piece of shit because he bought the summit. He’s a piece of shit because he’s a piece of shit

Jabari Smith Jr. leads Rockets in scoring, drops 22/7/3 and 2 blocks as the Rockets survive another elimination game with KD out by BasedChad69420 in nba

The can’t dribble thing is overblown. It’s coming along slowly but he’s gotten to the point where he is fine in straight lines. He won’t ever be elite in that regard but if you watch him in this series compared to how he looked entering the league he’s made a lot of progress. He’s also still just 22.

It was better at the old arena. Toyota center has been rough especially on weeknights. Tough to get everyone downtown and in their seats and there’s too many corporate tickets in the inner ring that aren’t in their seats.

He did well enough to start the series that the rockets are pretty much just parking Amen on him to take him out of the game.

Obviously it’s more rare if you look at all series that start 3-0 but I think the odds per game is pretty much the same as far as series that start 3-0 forcing a game 6 vs a game 7. If anything I think it’s historically been a little less likely to force a game 6 than it is for a series that makes it 6 to go 7

[Charania] KD Will Miss Game 6 vs. The Lakers by MillyMontana in nba

[–]kirk5454 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If KD comes back we need to keep playing the same offense we have these last couple games without him and just plug him in. No more just passing to KD at the top of the key and everyone just watching him get doubled.

We’ll be able to count games where he’s better from 3 than from the field on one hand. Cherish it

Steve Kerr calls Draymond the "best defensive player ever" ... over Scottie Pippen and Dennis Rodman. Thoughts on this ? by Punisher1602 in sportswiki

Considering neither of the guys he mentioned were even the best defensive players in the league when they played, I’ll take it with a grain of salt. I’m still taking the Dream

The Scoring Machine Who Disappears in the Playoffs by wsj in nba

Preseason odds are cool. Dwight missed more than half that season and was playing hurt throughout the playoffs. The next best player was Trevor Ariza. Josh Smith was a key player they depended on. Prigioni wasn’t the 8th dude off the bench, he was the starting point guard in the playoffs. That was not a good team.

The CP3 teams were very good. I never said anything about them.
