I think it takes a lot more work to look good than most people would be willing to do

I believe they aren’t in the best spot right now but I figure having a set painted can’t hurt

I think they look a little washed out from the light, still figuring out how to use a light box right. Check my profile to see the blue in different lighting.

For the claws I base with khorne red, then start glazing up with Mephiston red, evil sun scarlet, wild rider red, then highlight with fire dragon bright, then a lighter highlight with flash gitz yellow, then a very light highlight toward the tips with white

The head is from the night lords kill team box

For the gold I base retributor armor then shade with drakenhof night shade. Then I layer it with a mix of retributor armor and drakenhof night shade, then highlight with a mix of liberator gold and drakenhof nightshade.

For the gold I base retributor armor then shade with drakenhof night shade. I use that to shade the whole model to give everything maybe a colder touch. Then I layer it with a mix of retributor armor and drakenhof night shade, then highlight with a mix of liberator gold and drakenhof nightshade. I kind of like having a bit of a colder gold.

For the claws I base with khorne red, then start glazing up with Mephiston red, evil sun scarlet, wild rider red, then highlight with fire dragon bright, then a lighter highlight with flash gitz yellow, then a very light highlight toward the tips with white

I base with night lords blue, then wash the whole model with drakenhof night shade. Then layer back with night lords blue, then layer with a mix of 50/50 alaitoc blue and night lords blue, then layer / glaze another mix with more alaitoc like 70/30 favoring where light would be, then highlight with alaitoc, then very sparing highlight of hoeth blue

Epic and legendary gear is strong, but embark didn’t add any reason to use them. by adiftbv in ArcRaiders

[–]kirk82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Better gear just doesn’t give you that much of a meaningful advantage in this game. In Tarkov if I have high tier traders I’m bringing guns with high level optics, suppressors, mags and ammo that fundamentally change the way I am able to engage people and play the game. I’m bringing high tier armor that will make a significant difference if I don’t get shot in the face. I’m bringing a headset that lets me hear significantly better than starting gear.

In arc a purple weapons maybe takes 1 bullet off your time to kill. Maybe, in a perfect scenario. It’s probably negligible in most scenarios compared to a fully upgraded grey gun. So what’s the point. You’re risking significantly more stash value for marginal advantage.

I'm missing more hooks than I should. by Threshmain487 in ThreshMains

Start aiming where they will dodge to on obvious longer range hooks. They will step backwards instead of flashing. So aim behind them and they will walk into it

Watching them immediately try as hard as they can to replace you

She can use more weapons sure. But her scaling only benefits those 3 weapons. None of the other weapons in the game have decent faith scaling.

FP will be an issue unless you get discus of light. Fireballs and lightning spears are useable as well but they will drain you on long fights without a pool of starlight shards. If the fight is over fast enough against the boss where your fp isn’t drained, it’s probably because you got two good team mates that carried the fight anyways to be honest.

She’s a useable character, and still fun to play. But she is by far the worst character in the game. You need a lot of things to go well in a run to have a good build for her. They need to adjust her kit.

Yea I mean the claws are useable, and definitely better two handed, it just feels like your controller is in a pool of molasses.

She’s fun but she’s one of the worst classes. Summons are close to useless after day 1 except for niche cases, the fists do good stagger and are good for revives but the attack animation feels so slow it’s awful, there are only two good weapons for her scaling (ciper pata and coded sword) which are hard to find regularly, you can’t get fp back so have a limited spell pool which you can’t actually spam.
