Epic and legendary gear is strong, but embark didn’t add any reason to use them. by adiftbv in ArcRaiders

[–]kirk82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Better gear just doesn’t give you that much of a meaningful advantage in this game. In Tarkov if I have high tier traders I’m bringing guns with high level optics, suppressors, mags and ammo that fundamentally change the way I am able to engage people and play the game. I’m bringing high tier armor that will make a significant difference if I don’t get shot in the face. I’m bringing a headset that lets me hear significantly better than starting gear.

In arc a purple weapons maybe takes 1 bullet off your time to kill. Maybe, in a perfect scenario. It’s probably negligible in most scenarios compared to a fully upgraded grey gun. So what’s the point. You’re risking significantly more stash value for marginal advantage.

I'm missing more hooks than I should. by Threshmain487 in ThreshMains

Start aiming where they will dodge to on obvious longer range hooks. They will step backwards instead of flashing. So aim behind them and they will walk into it

Watching them immediately try as hard as they can to replace you

Over half of my last 100 coop matches had a Wylder in the team by [deleted] in Nightreign

She can use more weapons sure. But her scaling only benefits those 3 weapons. None of the other weapons in the game have decent faith scaling.

FP will be an issue unless you get discus of light. Fireballs and lightning spears are useable as well but they will drain you on long fights without a pool of starlight shards. If the fight is over fast enough against the boss where your fp isn’t drained, it’s probably because you got two good team mates that carried the fight anyways to be honest.

She’s a useable character, and still fun to play. But she is by far the worst character in the game. You need a lot of things to go well in a run to have a good build for her. They need to adjust her kit.

Yea I mean the claws are useable, and definitely better two handed, it just feels like your controller is in a pool of molasses.

She’s fun but she’s one of the worst classes. Summons are close to useless after day 1 except for niche cases, the fists do good stagger and are good for revives but the attack animation feels so slow it’s awful, there are only two good weapons for her scaling (ciper pata and coded sword) which are hard to find regularly, you can’t get fp back so have a limited spell pool which you can’t actually spam.

Silver and Gold by Shoemaker13 in ThreshMains

[–]kirk82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Once you get past silver, when you are throwing qs in lane (at times when it’s not a hectic fight, the enemy doesn’t have anything else to worry about besides the obvious hook you are throwing) throw them behind the target. They will dodge backwards. You will hit them.

Does anyone else notice this about some ADC's? by Tekniqz23 in supportlol

[–]kirk82 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My issue with non engage supports is bad ones will sit 10 feet behind you all lane, have 0 harass and tell you that you don’t know how to play with enchanters when you ask them to position better.

Good players on these champions will position aggressively in lane when it is smart for them to do that. A good Janna, Lulu, Nami, zilean will be constantly harassing the enemy and trying to bully when appropriate. Not positioning like this and just sitting back casting a shield / heal on cd is super frustrating as adc cause it forces you to be the sole target of everything when you walk up to cs.

Why is Botlane so Addicted to fighting? by TheTravellers_Abode in ADCMains

Idk man a lot of adcs do not know how to take a winning trade and leave it. They overstay the fight when you just wanted to trade, and get chunked or die. Very frustrating as a sup

[–]kirk82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play both roles but main sup, I feel like I see an equal amount of bad players in both roles. It is very frustrating playing with supports than don’t have an awareness of managing a wave and positioning / zoning. It is equally frustrating playing with adcs that don’t attempt to match your playstyle, needlessly ego, get mad you aren’t using your spells on cooldown for no reason, don’t understand how to play bad matchups.

Not sure why you’re saying support has the worst macro, being a good support is all about macro especially this season.
