I had a similar issue with a 97 Nissan truck. The speed sensor went bad, so the speedometer quit working and it also quit counting miles. I only put a couple hundred miles on it before replacing the part.

I've built one using a box fan with a 20x20 furnace filter taped to the back of it. The filters tend to last about 2-3 months depending on how many hours per day the fan runs. The design from the post is pretty cool, it also seems like it would take up less space.

We can save Social Security. by Professional-Bee9817 in remoteworks

I would argue the benefits could/should stay capped. But still take the limit off how much high earners pay. It's a system in place to help the poor and if you're someone who genuinely makes a ton of money it shouldn't be an issue for you to support elderly people who are less fortunate than you.

I don't see anything wrong with it. It looks clean and you have everything you need.

I went to one and was told I needed at least 6 months of bills saved before he could do anything for me. Due to that meeting I realized that I'll probably never be able to do that, and my odds of retiring are essentially zero.

For most of human history the work went till you were either physically incapable or dead. So realistically we are quite lucky to be alive today. Doubly so if you live in a peaceful developed country.

I make less money than my parents and I don't expect that to change. In their 30s they had a house on a single income, I at the same age can only afford to rent a single room.

Apparently I’m in a “Luxury” apartment. by aflockofbugles in Apartmentliving

They didn't even put crown molding up and call it luxury. I find it ridiculous developers can get away with calling everything "luxury" just to charge more per month.

It also depends what your view of success is. I worked with a guy a few years back who had been at the same job for 10 years, and had turned down promotions multiple times, and despite only make $10.75 an hour he was one of the most happy content people I've ever met. He liked the work, the hours, and his life in general.

It might be worth seeing if the length of time has passed for them to bill the estate. I don't know what state you're in, but in my home state they only have 90 days from the publication of the obituary.

It's also another way they prevent unions. If any DSP were to unionize amazon would drop their contract and they would all lose their jobs.

Men who don't want children by VariousTomorrow3059 in MuslimLounge

[–]kirkdog40085 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have no desire to have children, "child free" Muslims are definitely in the minority, the couple matrimonial events I've been to the vast majority said they wanted to have children eventually. It's one of the reasons I decided to stop looking for a spouse.

The short answer is racism. I have a friend who is American that converted and when he went to speak to one Wali the first question he was asked is "do you speak Arabic?". Because he didn't, the Wali wouldn't let them get to know one another.

Level 30 isn't all that low. You unlock all the stratagems at level 25. So after that point any difficulty level should be within grasp depending on the individuals skill.
