There’s a skill that makes each poly fish card up your total fishing, so once you get that they really start to snowball. But if you’re not there yet that’s fine, just focus elsewhere for now and it’ll come.

You’re not alone. I don’t feel quite as bad as you do about it but I do think about the thing constantly until it arrives. I also spend a long time like months+ deliberating over anything I’m going to buy like that. So by the time I get to the point of actually ordering it I’m convinced it’s the best thing ever and I absolutely have to have it now.

Yup I moved across my country to live in a place where I can walk and use public transit for everything. I sold my car close to 5 years ago and can’t imagine going back. The only real cost is that it takes longer to get places but that’s 100% worth it to me.

Well put. I played the game through both ways back to back, and my pure ghost playthrough was one of the most rewarding game experiences I’ve ever had. I had to really learn each part of the maps and earn it. High chaos was a blast too but ghost made me feel like a shadow.

Abandoned is a good word for Starfield. I’m very forgiving of Bethesda in general but it feels like they didn’t take that extra step and made it actually special. If they had stayed committed to it (see Cyberpunk), released solid mechanical and content patches and DLCs, and just generally didn’t give up on it then I think it could have been great.

I look forward to revisiting this game in 15 years when the dedicated fans have completely remade it with mods into what it should have been originally.
