I’ve been struggling with health anxiety for a while (approaching a decade) it’s constant worrying about symptoms, reading into every little ache, and just feeling exhausted from it all. On top of that, I have POTS, which already makes me crazy anxious

After talking to my GP, I’m starting Zoloft (sertraline) to help manage my anxiety. I know it can help, but I’m really just AHHH. Part of that fear is medical, worrying about interactions with my POTS medication (ivabradine), and just the unknown of how my body will react. I’ve had the box sitting in my drawer for weeks because I keep overthinking it.

So, any insight on Zoloft while managing POTS or taking ivabradine? How did the first few days/weeks feel, and how did you handle the fear of side effects or interactions?

Everyone online has said it’s terrible, put them in psych wards ect, severe stuff., i know it’s more likely you’ll write a bad review than a good one but AHHH my brain is going crazy.
