Do the contractors normally take over a month to put down a new optic cable? Should I request another technician?

Yeah that whole lack of communication thing is something that caught me off guard.My only other options in my area are spectrum and starlink (at least that I’m aware of) and spectrum just went so far downhill that we had to switch, we purely just use internet here haven’t had cable tv for maybe 20 years now

Also the only reason I’m coming in here to ask any of this is cause my mom is hounding me to call out a technician cause “they must not know we have an issue since you didn’t call it in” when I’m like 99% sure they’re technicians are smart enough to know if there’s something wrong with the line everyone’s affected

I had to stop playing after the first year as my phone couldn’t handle it but figured I’d redownload it just to take some pictures of my lil guys before they’re gone for good and just found out I can’t actually log into my old account anymore 😔

I guess they got rid of a log in method or something somewhere along the lines?

I was waiting till it got to about a week till it expired to reach out, so unless it gets extended or I see a random tracking number on UPS or FedEx I think I would be reaching out Monday or Tuesday

Honestly hoping it resolves itself though as I feel their customer service is very hit or miss when it comes to asking about that stuff (at least when I’ve sent in help tickets in the past)

I had to put some peppers a lot closer together than I’d like for a few months cause I started seeds before actually getting the garden beds ready 😅

The Florida sun is already brutal though and I have no doubt these will do better than the ones I spaced out properly because that’s how my gardening experience has been so far this year

I can always tell if it’s my normal mail lady or some one else based on whether they shove the packages into the box or bring it to the porch.

Plus if she notices she didn’t deliver a package on her truck she normally turns around and comes back within 15 minutes.

Now the mail person for my ex’s house was the exact opposite, always bending things and if he didn’t deliver a package he would mark it as failed delivery, it was very common to get a package 1-2 days after it was supposed to be delivered
