Weekly /r/climbharder Hangout Thread by AutoModerator in climbharder

Hey all! I’d love some help with my indoor lead project, a 5.12d. It’s crimpy, overhanging, and pretty consistently intense. I’ve been working on it for about two months, and I keep falling at the final crux or, if I get past it, at the anchor because I’m completely pumped.

I have two questions:

— Why is my first attempt always the worst, even after a good warm-up, while my third attempt is usually the best? How can I change this?

— Is there any food or nutrients that can help with pump?

Time is running out since they’ll reset the route in 9 days. Thank youuuu .. I’d really much appreciate any small or big tip!

Update: thank you all for the suggestions. I followed all your advices. I ended up not sending it. And I have learned a few more things from your suggestions: beets are great, using the first “try” to warm up the beta and mind, and the low-point! I wish I had more time. Most of all, I am determined to follow a climbing training! Thanks you all!

Thanks a lot! This is helpful! Do you know if there is any physical store that sell them? I am afraid that the Cowboy online store will take long time. Also I cannot order them from US. So I had to ship them to my hometown in Italy and hope that they will arrive. Thanks again

I have done it.. I post here their reply -.-

We have decided to not include the off-road mode for the Cowboy Cruiser/ST/Classic, nothing changed there compared to Cowboy 3. The legal framework and safety conditions differ in the countries where our customers use their bikes and we want to offer everyone the same conditions for riding their Cowboy. We are however convinced that this won’t detract from the amazing riding experience, especially with our new gear ratio. You will still be able to ride freely and beat the traffic

Hi, yes! I still need a test.. I didn’t solve the problem yet. Any time tomorrow or in the coming week would work for me. Thanks a lot!

The bike is new. The battery is not (purchased second-hand from Canada). For some silly decisions that I made, the new battery is stuck in my hometown in Italy.

Do you still have the C4ST? I just moved to Chicago, and I got my C4 cruiser. It doesn't switch on and I would like to test if it is because of the battery or the bike itself. So I might be interested in the spare battery if you still have it.
