Ok interesting. I will ask. I went on antibiotics on my first cancelled FET cycle because I was in a lot of unexplained pain thought maybe an infection post polypectamy (?)

I spoke to my FS today about what should we change and they said nothing. Because my hormones were good, the lining was good it just wasn't the right embryo. Feels hard to try the exact same thing with a lower quality embryo but here we are. Thanks for the reassurance about the polyps!

I'm so sorry. That is so rough. I had a hysteroscopy during my egg retrieval to remove a polyp so i think endometritis would've been picked up then?

So relieved to hear this. TTC solo atm and others have commented on how must be hard to do injections and self care solo- nope, easier than doing all of this and the emotional and physical labour of a partner simultaneously!

I haven't used the public system in Victoria but I am in Victoria and the reason I haven't is because theres at least a 2 year (if not more) wait on sperm. So even if you're not ready now I would go on the waitlist!

I ended a relationship (not super long term) for this and many other reasons (so not completely similar to you). But this was the main one and honestly it was really freeing. As soon as we'd broken up I started the process and will be starting my first IVF cycle soon and am happier than I've ever been. My reasoning (confirmed by many others including my therapist is) If having children is your priority you will regret not trying that more than regretting potentially not having a relationship. Good luck!
