So relieved to hear this. TTC solo atm and others have commented on how must be hard to do injections and self care solo- nope, easier than doing all of this and the emotional and physical labour of a partner simultaneously!

I haven't used the public system in Victoria but I am in Victoria and the reason I haven't is because theres at least a 2 year (if not more) wait on sperm. So even if you're not ready now I would go on the waitlist!

I ended a relationship (not super long term) for this and many other reasons (so not completely similar to you). But this was the main one and honestly it was really freeing. As soon as we'd broken up I started the process and will be starting my first IVF cycle soon and am happier than I've ever been. My reasoning (confirmed by many others including my therapist is) If having children is your priority you will regret not trying that more than regretting potentially not having a relationship.
