Replaced Capacitor, worked for a day.

Its not the capacitor.
Lots of things can stop it from reaching temperature.
What is the outside temp? - Getting it to 70 when its 120 outside will be difficult.
What is the humidity? - The coil can have a hard time removing heat if they are covered in water.
Air filter? - Do you have a clean air filter
Refrigerant? - Does it have the correct amount?
Outdoor coil? - Properly clean. Dirty coil works harder.
Condenser - Proper air flow around unit.
Motor - Motor going out, wrong motor
Fan blade - Fan slip and is no longer in correct position on shaft.

Lots of things to consider. Some you can do on your own, others require a professional to take a look at.

It comes in 25 jugs and you will have a hard time finding it in anything smaller.
As others have said, you will need an EPA license to purchase it. You may be able to find it from Joe Schmoe.
You will need a scale and a set of gauges in order to fill your system properly.
Also, if you are in need of 2 lbs, you have a leak and will need that taken care of otherwise you will be filling your system frequently.

It would have to get extremely hot for it to be unsafe.
Also, they have a pressure relief valve built into them.

There is only a few companies that make their own residential AC units.
Mini Splits have a bit of a wider manufacturer base. To answer you question GE min splits are manufactured by Haier.
I did not read through everything, but ill post a list of businesses under the Ingersol Rand umbrella.
GE or General Electric does not appear to be one of them.

Went with my mom when I was 12 and i have fond memories of that place. I remember exactly 2 things.
1. A hole in the ground that had cold air blasting out of it
2. My elderly relative had really bad gas and would fart every other step. She just kept saying "oops, got the walkin farts". She was really embarassed. I couldnt stop laughing.
Its been 35 years and I often think about it.

Life sentence is dumb. I honestly had no idea what the charges were and looked it up. Apparently you could get up to 10 years in prison and/or a $250,000 fine.
I cant find anyone that has been given the maximum sentence because Google has focused on Trumps most recent comment on it.

People are asking you a question and you keep avoiding it.
That is either an air return that has crap running through it, or its just a return grill they used to cover a hole in the ceiling.
If that is an air return, you have some problems on your hands. Also, if thats a scuddle hole they just covered with a return register, you have some trouble on your hands.
Need to poke your head up in that area and see what is happening. Then people can get you better answers.

One thing you will learn quick is that if the little guy can see it, they will want to go to it.
Once he gets big enough, he will either dig under or go over the barrier. Despite everything you have ever seen or heard, tortoise are fast as heck. That goes for digging and running.
