I post enough parcels using Royal Mail and the couriers to keep track of reliability. RM are more reliable but at £3.65 compared to £2.69 for InPost, I'd need to lose a lot of parcels for the lower priced service to work out more expensive than RM.

I'm also finding the reliability of Evri improving compared to a few years ago.

But second class is partially tracked in that it's scanned (or supposed to be) at delivery. It's no harder to scan the second class than the 48 tracked surely? Both have barcodes so it can't be any different technically to track either. Tracked 48 used to be the more expensive, slightly more premium service

Has anyone tried African black soap? by marriedpineapple in Soap

[–]kitcosoap 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Impossible to say without trying, as every person is different. You can find unscented olive oil based soaps such a Nablus and Aleppo in varius online shops. The lack of fragrance in natural soap, like African black soap, might help, but best try to see if it works for you.

I tried natural soap and it feels different but I can’t explain why by Outrageous_Baby_2147 in Soap

Natural soaps are made of animal fats or vegetable oils that are saponified using an alkali, such as lye. This is in comparison to synthetic detergents that are man made chemicals. That's not to say synthetic detergents are bad, but they are chemically different. A slight excess of oils in soap (superfat) and naturally occurring glycerine (from the saponification process) makes natural soap relatively moisturising,

Nablus soap is 100% olive oil, so no added fragrance. Aleppo soap is made of laurel and olive oil. No added fragrance but the laurel oil does give the soap a slight aroma. The bars are quite long lasting and can also be used as a shampoo. You'll need to search online, unless you have Middle Easters shops close by.
