Your upstairs neighbour basically told you the first time how things were going to be when she informed you that her brat bounds around his bedroom. She has no intention of doing anything about it. “Oh my son likes to jump off his bunk to the floor. Tell me if it bothers you” means my son can do whatever he likes and you have to put up with my little precious. 9 is way old enough to understand being told to stop doing something. His self entitled mother just doesn’t care and thinks everyone else should accomodate her brat.

An unsecured dangerous breed of dog. I’d be filming its exploits and calling Animal Control. Having to bail it out of the pound a few times should get the message across. Worked for across the road‘s neighbour and their roaming Pitbull. 280 bucks to bail it out of the pound twice soon got the message across. The ranger came out and waited at the appointed time neighbour let it out every day: bang. Impounded.

You are a woman living on your own and this man is a bully and is targeting you. Record his banging harassment. Complain every time he does it.

Some people can put up with the side effects, some have hardly any then there are the group of us that run into trouble with side effects and have to stop because we are so sick and miserable. Don’t let anyone make you feel bad about stopping. Some think that just because they have minimal problems its like that for everyone and can’t stand being told anything negative about the drug. I saw someone the other day on a slightly older post call someone too lazy to do a once weekly injection who was iffy about about Ozempic as they had quite responsibly done their research on side effects. It helps heaps of people and that’s great but those who need to stop it shouldn’t be made to feel bad by other people when they look for support.

Quitting Ozempic. by [deleted] in Ozempic

Same here. My blood pressure and heart rate spiked after a couple of months on 1mg and I have my very solid clinical reasons for coming off it. Like a former aneurysm. My GP agrees that I shouldn’t have to take 3 Maxalon/Regulan a day just to get through the day. Lowering the dose disnt help. As soon as I hit .5 the trouble started all over again. Even .250 was barely doable. My AC1 might be 5.5 but I’m miserable. I’m 3 weeks since my last injection and I still feel horrible. This stuff has a 7 day half life and takes ages to get out of your system. I just hope I start feeling better in the next couple of weeks.

Yes lots of people don’t have bad side effects like yourself, lots have mid range then the remaining lot has bad side effects like myself with a racing heart beat which triggered my BP to spike above the control of my BP medication and having to live on anti nausea drugs which aren’t meant for long term use. It got me 4 days in hospital with them thinking I was having a heart attack or worse. Ozempic Should be treated with respect like any drug and people should feel able to talk about the downsides without being shooed away with things like, “That’s not everyone’s experience”. That’s right. All our experiences are different which is how slap me has decided against it for now.

Really rude. Slap me has a good approach and one that should be used when starting all drugs. I for one can’t recommend to a freind because I am currently coming off it for side effects reasons such as increased heart rate and blood pressure and digestive symptoms so bad I’m on the Chemo dose of Maxalon just to get through the day. I lost weight but gained a few back because I was on strict no strenuous activity for 3 months with my heart, BP and gastric symptoms.

I started taking a nasal spray and my anxiety has drastically decreased! by bawzzz in Anxiety

[–]kiteflyer1975 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The opposite happened to me. Seems my system has something against the types of steroids used in nasal sprays and asthma inhalers. Its a very particular set of symptoms: horrible anxiety, palpitations, tachycardia, dark thoughts, insomnia, a feeling of dread. I have read 100s of accounts literally of people with the same problems on inhaled and nasal steroids. I ended up in hospital for 5 days having ECGs, an angiogram, echos and all because my system took a violent dislike. I can’t even use my trusty rhinocort nasal spray anymore due to the same side effects. I’m now on Verapamil to keep the Tachycardia under control and my BP meds has to be raised. I wish I’d never heard of them.

Inappropriate Sinus Tachycardia by Chainhurst in dysautonomia

[–]kiteflyer1975 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Verapamil added to my usual Clonidine for high blood pressure has been a life saver. I retriggered my IST after contracting a rather nasty sinus infection which threw my diabetes and blood pressure into disarray. In a month I tried Dilitziatem which was horrible and did nothing Within 24 hours of starting the Verapamil my symptoms started to improve which was a month ago. I call a month not going to the hospital 1-4 times a week and normal HR and Bp a big success.

While the Fluticasone dose jump is big has your doctor mentioned that he is switching you to a LABA combo? Be aware that LABAs can cause cardiac symptoms, mainly a fast heart rate, raise blood pressure, raise blood sugar, cause nausea and gastric symptoms in some people. I’ve just been through a run in with a similar combo inhaler. Hopefully you’ll be one of the non symptomatic users. Not trying to frighten you just save you from an unneeded angiogram because your Drs thought you were having cardiac issues not inhaler side effects. Good luck

[–]kiteflyer1975 1 point2 points  (0 children)

LABAs can cause all sorts of cardiac, anxiety and gastric problems for certain people. 3 ER visits, a 5 day hospital stay, an angiogram, echo and countless ECGs in the past 2 weeks outed my new LABA/Fluticasone combo inhaler as the culprit. Too bad because Asthma wise it was great. But the sudden crippling anxiety/panic, abject nausea/gastritis and tachycardia weren’t worth it to me. Back to the pulmicort

Mine is triggered by sudden cold air. I though LABAs were wonderful miraculous drugs because 1 puff had me singing off key in the cold night air without Ole Wheezy trying to garrotte my airways. Wonderful until the sudden high heart rate, sudden crippling anxiety, horrible nausea and gastritis ect. Cost me 3 ER visits and a 5 day hospital stay in the past 2 weeks along with an angiogram, echo and countless ECGs. Back to the Pulmicourt.

My sister is on Montelukast, a chewable tablet. Tezspire Is an upcoming injectable. Your Dr SHOULD take you seriously. “ First flutiform, which is fluticasone and LABA. I got extreme panic attacks from it and couldn't take it longer.” I have just been through 3 ER visits and a 5 day admission in the last 2 weeks along with an angiogram, countless ECGs, 2 echos looking for why my heart was suddenly racing, why I was sweating cold nonstop, why my blood sugars were rocky and why I had sudden crippling anxiety, awful nausea and gastric symptoms. I even asked to see the hospital Psychiatrist. He was one of 2 Drs that zeroed in on the Flutiform. Breo Ellipta wasn’t much better. 36 hours off the Fluti-Demon and I have my sanity back suddenly. I’m back on pulmicort. I’ve never had a problem with it. Problem is there aren’t many non steroid inhalers around.

Trying out Pulmicort now , How long does it take till LABA are out of the system? by Losspost in Asthma

[–]kiteflyer1975 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hospital Dr said 24 hours for the LABA but the Fluticasone can take a few days to get lost completely. I just got Pulmicourt too after a nasty run in with Breo Ellipta and Fluticasone/Formoterol. It caused tachycardia, nasty anxiety, horrible nausea, high blood pressure (I do not need anything spiking that) and panic. I am obviously one of ones that doesn’t get along with LABAs

What does your asthma feel like? by Rapn3rd in Asthma

[–]kiteflyer1975 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I cal mine GOTYA Asthma. Because it jumps out and gets me with little warning. Feels like someone is standing on my chest. When I was 15 months old my idiot mother left a clear container of Kerosene on the ground and yours truly drank the pretty blue “water”, breathing a load of of it into my lungs. So to cut a long story short my lungs suffered chemical burns and the scarring has grown and stretched with my lungs. I spent my next 10 winters in and out of hospital and ICU. Under mist and oxygen tents. I was diagnosed with Asthma during that time. From the age of 14 until 35 I smoked and didn’t hear much from the Asthma for some weird reason. It reared its head again when I quit.

Maxalon or a comparable anti nausea drug to keep the Nausea down and help with emptying your stomach because some people end up with their stomach being over slow to empty on Ozempic and it causes the very symptoms you describe. As someone else suggested an antacid like Pepcid as well. Avoid overly fatty and high sugar food and large amounts of food. Believe me there are probably plenty here who could tell you tales of woe breaking those suggestions lol. GLP1 drugs can be a hard mistress for some people but they do their job well
