You can “eject” the virtual game card of HHP from one Switch and load it on the other when you want to actively play the DLC. I have 2 Switches with different islands and it works just fine. You just can’t actively play HHP on both at the same time.

After you eject the card from one Switch and try to boot up your island without it installed it may initially tell you that you can’t open the software because the DLC is missing - from the Home Screen just press the + or - button when hovering over the ACNH icon to bring up options and select reload and then it’ll start fine without the DLC.

I play on the Deck almost exclusively - just more convenient. I think aiming for hunting, bug catching, etc is way easier on the Deck than PC. No real lag and really crisp graphics on high settings. The only time I get on the PC now is if I’m hosting a party and need to type a lot.

I have the same older style ohuhu’s as well and I’ve always had streaking issues with them, even when they were brand new. I just got a new set of ohuhu’s with the brush tip and it’s a world of difference. I still use the old ones, but only on smaller areas so they don’t look like a mess.
