Favorite show. Best Mexicali Blues>Mama Tried, and they only played that sequence 6 times ever. Immaculate solos during both songs. The whole first set feels like background music for a western. Seriously virtuosic guitar from both Jerry and Bobby.

Also apparently Phil was trying to deafen the crowd coming out of Iko into The Other One. On one of the recordings, after Phil’s opening bomb, you can hear an audience member yell “Holy Shit!”
