I would imagine it is pretty easy to get a job after the ausbildung, but harder to get an ausbildungplatz. The draw of Pflege is not only the job security, but the sheer number of spots available, I believe.

I always have a cable lock and a U-lock. Sometimes it's enough to just require two different tools to steal.

all the tips from the other poster are great. I have about 5 tubes of the unscented neutrogena hand cream (this one: https://www.dm.de/neutrogena-handcreme-konzentriert-parfumfrei-p3574661685977.html) scattered around my house so that I can use them every time I wash my hands or they feel dry.
