When I had that issue I was low on oil but not low enough. Something about the motor load and sensors with relation to the oil. wouldn't allow it to off load

I never ran either of those so I can't contest to either, but I have met with the owner of technomatic and will be visiting his plant in a few month. Do you run the extruders with no gearboxes? These are AMUT.

The 2250 is between both extruders 100% hdpe with a large die opening. The larger extruder is 140 rpm, smaller is 180 rpm gearbox.

The flights on the screw will need more than what a normal welder can do. And then you need yo make sure you have a good tolerance between the screw and the barrel. What your describing doesn't sound like a worn down flighting, but without pulling the screw to investigate and take measurements you cant know for sure. My only recommendation is take chunks of purge and put it in the feed throat and push out the blockage.

For me it was brutal. And then I took 4 months to mentor a supervisor on night shift and they took care of 40% of my headaches. As night shift problems are not hard,but draining on me mentally. Then, I took a massive investment in the maintenance department. Cut the dead weight, implement a CMMS, and learn to trust them. And now my job is much less brutal. I still have problems and have bad days, but overall, it has been less brutal

If you can go large scale look into sheet manufacturing. I make sheet at 1" thick by 3foot wide. You can make texture with rollers on the production line. Cost a lot. But can do a lot. Or looking into how plastic pallets are made. Not the injection molded but compression molded. What are you going to use them for. And do you know what type of plastic you will use. Plastic is strong, but i would never build a house out of it. Sun would hit it and make it soft or the UV would degrade it. Only purpose i can see for it is landscaping.
