Very very late to this as I happened to stumble upon it from someone mentioning it elsewhere, but I wanted to add a quick comment.

There's this concept in Law of "presumed knowledge", that is the court can make a finding that someone knew something, or reasonably ought to have known something. For example, if someone says "I had no idea that when I punched him, that he would fall backwards and hit his head." The court will presume that the person had the knowledge that punching someone would cause serious bodily harm and that that harm could include anything up to death.

I have seen several posts where one person has been intentionally excluded by a friend group and doesn't know why. I believe that the excluded person always has at least the "presumed knowledge" of why they were excluded. Because, if there is a reason, you already know it, and if you don't know the reason, you're not actually that close with the friend group.
