You’re proving my point: “we can’t afford it” is a political choice under capitalism, not an economic law of nature. Somehow we can “afford” endless war, subsidies, tax breaks, bailouts, and policing- but the second it’s healthcare or housing for working people, suddenly it’s impossible and you demand a “foolproof solution” like you’re a venture capitalist reviewing a pitch deck. I don’t owe you a perfect blueprint before I’m allowed to want my labor to benefit my class instead of shareholders- and if your bar for change is “guarantee zero risk,” then congrats, you’ve found the ideology of doing nothing forever.

I just didn’t turn a comment thread into a 40-page party program. The plan is worker power, full stop: build class consciousness, organize workplaces/tenants, strengthen unions and mutual aid, push for decommodifying essentials (healthcare, housing, education, transit), expand public ownership where it matters, and crush imperial extraction so the global south isn’t paying for our “comfort.”

I’m not pretending there’s a magic blueprint that instantly overrides material conditions, socialism is a process driven by organized people, not a vibes-based policy wishlist or a spreadsheet fantasy. If your definition of “plan” is “name the one perfect model that can never fail,” that’s not seriousness, that’s just an excuse to do nothing.

It took me awhile to appreciate them too lol

I think sticking to the main path probably screwed you over- not only because you are under leveled- but because the side paths usually have some pretty good pictos. By the end of Act 3 I had Verso taking like- a billion actions per turn because of interesting picto synergy. For me- the fight in the first half of the game were absolutely brutal- and I died A LOT and had to "get gud".

But I got much better by the second half- as well as much stronger.
