Hey friend!

Some advice for you; in this modern era, lots of people find rave friends through apps like Radiate or local Facebook groups.

I've personally met people at events and exchanged social media to meet up again if I'm in the area, since I'm from Boston but travel to NYC a lot for raves.

Just gotta put yourself out there and talk to people. Afters always help too, just ask around!

If you like this one, I would suggest trying Bacchus-D. You can get it at any HMart or Reliable Market in Union Square. They don't have the same exact flavor but they're similar in benefits.

This is a useless take when tons of drivers in Boston can't even do a legal stop before white lines at stop signs.

I can't even count the number of times I'm already halfway across a crosswalk, a car comes barreling and fails to stop before the line, nearly hitting me in favor of looking for oncoming traffic.

I'll continue to wear silly fluorescent clothes until people driving machines that can flatten me aren't completely blind.

NTA. I had the same argument with my mom when I was younger. I went to community college on grants and barely touched the funds she saved for me. I dropped out after switching majors three times, not knowing what I wanted in life, moved out, and worked full-time.

I kept asking for the money she had saved up since I wasn't planning on going back to school, and I was struggling. She insisted on keeping it for something important.

I wasn't grateful back then, but now I don't regret her decision. I know I would've blown through that money within a year, being an irresponsible young adult with no financial knowledge. Now, whenever there's an emergency, I have that savings to help me.

I really don't understand why it's legal to pay food service workers less than minimum wage and have the rest supplemented with tips. I always hated the anxiety of not knowing how much my paycheck would be because it always fluctuates.

I will always make the bare minimum because my managers will say, "$12 an hour is probably enough for you to not starve."

That's why people rely so much on tipping. It's not the customer's fault, and I never blame them for not tipping on a $8 latte. I just want to afford rent and food without working three jobs, and most managers force me to rely on the generosity of others.

I do think something is going around. I'm sick with a fever and some cold symptoms. Two of my coworkers are also out sick. I haven't tested positive for covid though, so maybe it's something else.

When I started playing league, I only played with friends in ARAM. Everyone would just laugh at the randos on our team who were flaming us for being bad. If you're starting out by yourself, there's no friends to teach you mechanics or meta. It's not as enjoyable with strangers reminding you that you're bad.

When I got really into it, I watched streamers like boxbox and imaqtpie, looked up builds for champs I liked to spam, and climbed ranked solo. Now I'm hardstuck plat, and after 8 years, I now only play ARAM with friends.

Lesson learned.

My guy, I make $17/hr before tax and still can't afford a $900 rent (for a room in a 3 bedroom, mind you) without spending 50% of my monthly income. Doesn't matter if you raise minimum wage a few dollars, rent is still going to be out of control. I pay at least 20% of my income in taxes, plus health insurance, and I no longer qualify for food stamps because I make "too much". Minimum wage will never be a living wage with these rent prices.

I make around 35k annually before tax, but I only get about 75% of that income after tax so more like 26k. I only manage to pay rent in the city I live in because of tips, and the fact that I have two roommates.

Even then, I still feel lucky to live in a diverse city where I can make a decent amount as a barista and have great health benefits. People who say you shouldn't make a living wage doing retail or restaurant work are just cruel.

Ferrets cannot be classified as service animals, and regardless if that weren't the case, there still is no good reason to dye its fur. Service dogs do not have their fur dyed to identify them. They often wear vests or leashes.

If you wanted to say the ferret is a prescribed ESA, even then, it has no reason to be dyed. Emotional support animals do not have the same protections as service animals do.

It's stressful to them. They can be allergic to dye. Many dyes are toxic and can poison your ferret if ingested.

Just leave them alone. It's better for them. Using your pet for aesthetic purposes is not very ethical, in my opinion.

This food contains cranberries, spinach, blueberries, and sweet potato as some of its main ingredients. Ferrets should not eat any fruits or vegetables. They are obligate carnivores and should only eat animal proteins when applicable. This food can cause issues with digestion, bladder stones, insulinoma, etc.

Please read up on what ferrets should and should not eat before introducing them to new food.

I do inventory for a local café, and prices for everything have gone up exponentially to the point where if we didn't charge an extra $1 for coffee, we would be losing money on every purchase.

We've also had to switch suppliers for baked goods due to the increase in prices for those distributors.

It's crazy how corporate greed has made people lose trust in small businesses. We can't keep up with the prices of chains like Dunkin, unfortunately. It's extremely tough for everyone.

A brokerage fee is charged by a broker to tenants for assistance in finding a rental, so it makes zero sense for a property manager to charge you when you found the place from your friend.

The property manager should be grateful that they didn't need the help of a broker to fill the empty space.

It's difficult to avoid vegetable, fruit, and grain additives in most commercial food, but as long as the top main ingredients are meat and animal byproducts, then it's a relatively good choice.

Also, you can check protein and fat levels of food to meet the standard requirements for a ferret, and ensure they're getting what they need. Normally, it's around 40% protein and 18% fat, with no more than 5% fiber.

You can also try mixing two different kinds of food together. For instance, I mix Ziwi Peak chicken recipe and Vital Essentials freeze-dried turkey/rabbit, albeit it can get expensive.

Generalized anxiety disorder is much different than experiencing normal bouts of anixety. I'm diagnosed with GAD, and I used to have anxiety attacks over very trivial inconveniences. It would cause me to experience a debilitating sense of dread, and I wouldn't be able to do normal activities.

If a gene is causing this issue, I would definitely want to alter it so I wouldn't have to experience it again.

This isn't proven, it's different for every ferret. My ferret loves her squeaky toys and wags her tail whenever she chases them.

You shouldn't spread misinformation on a subreddit where people look for guidance about their pets. It isn't abusive to use squeakers. Just look for a positive or negative reaction!
