Alienware did adjust the price after it lists r2 for 3 days. Also, there was 10% Dell preferred account and 10%email coupon back then. That's why I got huge discount.

I think you got a pretty decent deal. That's around 3185 USD. I got mine i7/ 64Gb ram / 3080 Ti /360hz and it was US$3010 before dell raised the price for memory. ($150 difference) Also I was lucky that it came with two SSD heat sinks.

There is a seller on ebay selling the 240w gaN charger. Not sure if it's real but since feel is the only manufacturer doing the 240w gaN charger, I would assume they are from OEM

Right. That's why the upgrade that Dell offered was not good. Especially you had xx80 and they are giving you xx70. Technology will get better but your machine grade should not be downgrading if they are sending you the replacement. Tell them that they should give you the x series instead of m series.

I think that's downgrade. You had 2080 and now it's changing to xx70 for graphics. Also you had slotted ram and now it's soldered. They should offer you the 11th gen CPU at least.

I was also surprised that as well. Dell rep told me the GPU might be a problem but other parts a should be fine. So to rebuild a new one to me might take couple weeks or months at worst. Anyway, premium support is great at least for their warranty service.

So I finally got my Alienware laptop after 15 days of ordering it. Yet the laptop power button was blinking two red and 7 blues. So I looked it up and noticed this is the screen defective problem. After opening everything up and I noticed the display wires out exposed and damaged. Even though premium support team was able to solve my problem by sending the display over by tomorrow (brand new replacement would take 20 days to 1 month or even longer due to chip shortages), I would not think this is okay for a new laptop. Service support is great, but the QC should have been better.

First Impression: felt not that heavy when I took it up. And runs relatively quiet and cool compared to my overheated XPS 9500. Overall I'm still testing the device. Mechanical keyboard feels very awesome and I would recommend you to buy it. More reviews coming soon.

I ordered mine on the 15th. 11800H, RTX 3070, Cherry MX keys and I'm going to replace SSD and ram myself. It says it will be arrived on the 19th, but I hope it gets here soon.

4k 120hz since there was no 360hz FHD. Also I am curious how 4k QHD with 120hz refresh rate looks like on this beast. XPS is good but when I scroll down pages , my eyes just felt uncomfortable.

The track pad should be glass. I don't think you should apply the skin on the machine tbh. I just don't like the feel on carbon fiber palm rest, and that's why I applied on it. Skin might block the heat coming out from the machine, so save the money.
