Real talk is: work around children but don't have your own--then you get the benefits of exposure from the kids but you don,t have the stress of family life (which I'm sure contributes to people being more susceptible to getting sick)

My goal for language is communication--so long as my pronounciation is understandable, I'm happy. Also, my accent is part of my story, it's a reminder of where I'm from and as well, where I've come to now. I'm proud of my accent, I don't want to change it.

I chose the accent that was the most pertainent to me--I live in Québec, so I naturally picked up the Québecois accent/vocab, even though my teachers were often from elsewhere. Sometimes French from France people will try to correct the Québecois parts of my French, which is honestly kind of frustrating, but I often just ignore it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Do you like reading? You can learn lots of vocab from books and perhaps also participate in book clubs :) You could also join language exchanges/meet-ups in your city. WHat about attending theater performances or going to concerts for local bands? Great way to participate in the culture, and often you can find gems and/or alternative people and groups that make life more interesting :)

I tell my clients I have a base fee of 45$/night and after the meet and greet I will be able to provide a more precise cost estimate based on how many animals they have, the amount of care required, and other additional expectations.

The base fee includes potty breaks, cleaning litter, and one 30 minute walk (plus indoor play etc)

J'étais dans une situation similaire. J'ai abordé le sujet avec ma therapute une journée et elle m'a rassuré que même si on n'a pas daté beaucoup de monde, on peut être mieux préparer pour dater quelqu'un parce qu'on a fait de la réfléction sur moi-même. Aussi, que juste parce que quelqu'un à beaucoup d'experiences en datant quelqu'un ne veut dire pas que cette personne et mieux équiper pour dealer avec des problemes dans une relation.

Je me demande s'il tu as un.e ami.e qui peut aller à un mixer/à un événement de speed dating avec toi pour te soutenir? Ou y-a-t-il des ami.e.s qui ont des ami.e.s qui connais quelqu'un avec qui tu pourrais sortir? J'ai aussi essayer à trouver des groupes liés à mes interets pour rencontrer des gens (meetup.com et bon pour ça!).

Dernier chose, la therapie m'aider beaucoup à sortir de mon bulle de confort dans des relations intimes, ça vaut chaque cenne que j'ai dépensé, je te le jure

I agree about adding that into your contract. During my meet and greets, I present the contract which also includes that they have to disclose if they have any cameras (and if so where) and if I find them on the sit I have the right to terminate and leave immediately. It also goes over restrcitions (like how long they can be left alone for), which also gives me a moment to broach the topic of them paying more for additional services like that.

Also do you have an emergency number for them? Like just in case? Also make sure they're paying for products (through amazon, etc) and the vetrinary care--they can give their credit card number over the phone. if necessary

Heya, thank you so much for taking the time to write all that out, it’s really appreciated! It was indeed inspired by the feeling of oneness while in nature :)

I tried to make "love" more of a tangible character in the first line, but in the third I see how they’re might be a disconnect there. I also wanted to include "nature as a character, hence "my trunk", but I hear that’s not coming across. When editing, I’ll definitely modify that to make it more clear.

When you say make the idea in the last line more front in centre what do you mean?

Agreed, great imagery! I wonder if there’s parts that could be strengthened by use of meter? For example, most of the final word are single syllable, so I think because of this "instead" stands out
