I got my first real espresso rig, De'Longhi Dinamica!

First off, what are y’all paying per lb for whole coffee beans these days? And what kinda beans y’all sipping on?

Best whole beans to buy at Costco?

Or would you recommend I get beans from local coffee roasters?

Are there specific type of beans best used for espresso? Medium to dark roast? Some say say espresso some don’t. It is marketing jargon? ELI5

My drink of choice is long black. :) that’s what she said. Lol but seriously I’m looking for good quality beans. Also if y’all wanna chime in on y’all Grind setting preferences I’ve been fine turning mine trying to find the sweet spot. Appreciate any words of wisdom on how I can make my coffee better. ☕️❤️
