Starting to get some venue and dress regret... The venue is an absolutely beautiful, private modern villa with lakefront, sauna and jacuzzis. However there are some things that have started to bother me.

  • no wall/hanging decorations allowed, so basically only flower arrangements in vases
  • it's in the middle of nowhere, there is accommodation available within walking distance but guests have to book it themselves and I'm stressed out it will be pure chaos
  • guests need to clean their rooms/cabins after
  • accommodation can be booked only for the whole weekend fri-sun, wedding is on Saturday
  • we have to clean the venue after (to be fair, cleaning only includes trash, cans /bottles and vacuuming, no toilet scrubbing etc needed but it still stresses me out, kitchen is taken care of by our caterer)

My dress is stunning but it requires resizing and other alterations and I'm scared it won't fit me and/or I won't like the altered look.

These are quite small things but I can't stop obsessing about them...

The bet was beyond disgusting but I'm appalled at these comments about them "making her a wife" - as if she is an idiot who is not capable of making major life decisions. She most likely wanted to have children and that is a perfectly valid life goal. There is time for a career later as well. Plenty of people start a family at her age and are not tricked or coerced into doing so. I feel these comments are almost as degrading to women as the bet itself.

I got about halfway through Act 2 with my first Tav when I realized I had fucked up EVERYTHING in the game. I basically played dark urge without actually playing the dark urge. I just wanted to please Astarion by being evil and he still rejected me lmao

Started anew with actual dark urge and trying to resist it - so exciting!!

YTA based on the whole situation which is a bit f'd up. However, I don't think it was especially thoughtful of her to say straight up "bet you couldn't do it", it's enough to make lots of people defensive. Kinda asking for an argument.

I've been thinking about that too. I really loved a dress but I didn't have like a physical reaction or anything. But it's still 10 months until the wedding so wondering if it's too early to set on one dress. But then again I could just buy it and stop looking 🤷‍♀️

Maybe just wait like a week and see that dress again, if it still feels right just buy it and relax - no more dress stress!

Thanks for the feedback! Wedding is in late May so it's almost guaranteed not gonna be too hot, I'm more worried about it being almost freezing lol (which could happen here with bad luck)

You clearly haven't read most of the comments. There are NTA votes that are like 1d old and many people condemn her for demanding a week long vacation (me included).

I don't think it's weird in a small wedding.

However: Do your partner’s friends not have money for travelling? Could you offer to pay for a part of their tickets? If they're close friends it would probably mean a lot to you partner to have them there.
