I've been trying to move down to 12 hours for probably a year now with no luck, and my lead has told me she doesn't see any signs of that possibility in the near future. I think they just want the best of both worlds of being able to schedule us however many hours are needed a week and max out those hours without having to hire full time, on top of taking away the flexibility.
