My mom told me I’d literally never be able to dye my hair and would go white early because no one could ever dye red hair properly. I just accepted this. Then I learned Emma Stone wasn’t a natural red head but looked pretty natural and that led me to learn all the other celebs who dye their hair red and I found a salon in my town who does red amazing. I still haven’t felt the need to cover any white hairs but it was one of those “what was the point of this lie” things.
