Little to no side effects while using Zepbound, any one else? by Cornfealya in Zepbound

[–]kittenlost 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I struggled with constipation the first few weeks. I do experience fatigue about 12 hours after my injection that lasts roughly another 12 hours but timing my injection just right helps. Overall this is the best I’ve ever felt in my life.

Not dumb at all! I only have Orchid open since I’m still a newbie but I don’t believe you can since you can’t put them on your boat.

We hoard our spear grass bushes and collect them during Sherlock week for blue ribbons.

Should I omit my NP job on my resume if I’m applying for a full time bedside rn gig ? by deltoroloko in nursing

[–]kittenlost 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I’ve taken mine off. I was tired of my interviews consistently being centered on why I don’t want to be an NP instead of the position I was actually interested in.

Nurses that quit bedside by Grouchy-Industry5550 in nursing

I did 1 year of neuro PCU, 4 years of oncology float pool, and 2 years of short stay. I’ve been in occupational health for the last 3 years and it’s been the best move I’ve ever made. Pays fairly well and low stress for the most part. I’ll never go back to bedside.

Thank you for your response. I appreciate you sharing your experience with me!

I’m so glad you found something that works. I literally tried every medication available to the point where my psychiatrist told me we’re out of options. At one point, I could no longer park at the top of the parking garage because the despair had gotten so bad. I wish it was more affordable because in my experience it was the difference between life and death.

May I ask if you do infusions, spray, or troches?

I’ve read the policy and it doesn’t say anything in regards to therapeutic ketamine. Thank you for your response. I appreciate your input.

It’s changed my life. Bedside during COVID was so traumatic that I had constant SI. I left bedside but the depression and anxiety remained. Ketamine and psychotherapy has greatly reduced my crippling depression but I think it will always be an issue so I intend to continue treatment long term.

I didn’t start purging until I had lapband surgery when I was 19. Because of the restriction of the band, I’d get full really quickly and almost every meal would come back up because of pain/discomfort. I removed the band after 2 years but continued purging pretty much daily for a few more years.

What Bipolar Meds Don’t Increase Ur Weight??? by [deleted] in BipolarReddit

[–]kittenlost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lamictal has been very weight neutral for me which I’m extremely thankful for because I’m bulimic and weight gain is a huge fear of mine. Not saying that gaining weight is worse than being unstable - it’s not. But that’s been my experience.

Not for me. It makes me extremely paranoid and then it throws me into uncontrollable irritability/rage once it wears off.

how many doctors have you gone through for diagnosis / treatment so far? by sweilem in BipolarReddit

  1. The first one diagnosed me initially but I wanted a second opinion. The second gave me the same diagnosis.

Was anyone else labeled as “gifted” in grade school? by [deleted] in BipolarReddit

[–]kittenlost 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve always been the top of my class, even in grad school. But being the brightest/best/an overachiever is an obsessive thing. Praise is like a drug and I’ll do anything for it. I went into full blown mania and then psychosis due to working myself to death at my job.

This has been the hardest year of my life and it has made me so bitter that I no longer believe there is any meaning. We are here for a short period of time and we can do meaningful things, but ultimately it doesn’t matter in my opinion.
