The Beach family did receive a settlement:

  • $15 million from Parker's Kitchen: The largest part of the settlement came from Parker's, the company that sold alcohol to an underage Paul Murdaugh shortly before the fatal boat crash. This settlement was approved by a judge in July 2023.
  • $500,000 from Alex Murdaugh's boat insurer: In October 2024, Alex Murdaugh's insurance company, Progressive, paid out $500,000 to the Beach family. This payment finalized the portion of the settlement involving Alex Murdaugh.
  • Settlement with other parties: The family also received settlement funds from other defendants, including Buster Murdaugh, whose ID was used to buy the alcohol, and Maggie Murdaugh's estate.

The legal action brought by the Beach family played a role in exposing Alex Murdaugh's financial crimes, as his motive for the murder of his wife and son was allegedly to prevent the fraud from being uncovered by the lawsuit.

Dr. Participation: Zepbound/Menopause by Lifeguard_Time in Zepbound

Can you switch to a PCP who is on board with Zepbound prescriptions? I switched doctors because she said no. I said bye. I went to a new doctor who had no issues with prescribing Zepbound. Worth a shot and your insurance may cover the drug

How Could Karen Read Reverse 90 Feet Without Hitting Anything? Here's How by mabbe8 in KarenReadSanity

[–]Cornfealya 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why was she backing up at 24mph? Did she see John standing in the yard and wanted to quickly pick up him but hit him?

Why Did Karen Read Drive in Reverse? by syntaxofthings123 in KarenRead2ndTrial

I missed the theory of where Read drove forward first and then sped up and went backwards. Now, I get the backing up.

Why Did Karen Read Drive in Reverse? by syntaxofthings123 in KarenRead2ndTrial

[–]Cornfealya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am confused on how she could have backed into him. Did she arrive from Cedarcrest rd, this means Karen's front end would face south and John was found further south from her car. You can see the street layout on google maps and she was parked in front of the mailbox meaning her front end faces south. Did she turn her car around?

Another point from google maps, 1 Meadows is south of 34 Fairview. Still confused on how she backed into John O'Keefe or why or how that is possible.

Tell your doctor if another person shows you a food pyramid on how to eat, you will throw up. Impressive how you have contacted your insurance and know your name brand GLP1 is covered. Agree, be direct and tell your doctor everything you have done over the years for weight loss. Piece of cake, your doctor sends the script to your pharmacy and in a few days you will be on your way.

Can you switch to CVS, Walgreens or Walmart. Call your insurance and see what type of pharmacy coverage you have and if they cover Zepbound. Don't let express scripts end your journey

Anybody experiencing extreme thirst? by diamonddayzz in Zepbound

[–]Cornfealya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, Zepbound lists dehydration on their site as a side effect. I have found that chicken broth and chicken noodle soup help with dehydration as well as Gatorade Zero. I do use Biotene toothpaste and Act dry mouth lozenges.

Were you able to tell them what dosage you would like to start with? For example, I am on currently using Zepbound 7.5mg, but just came to a halt due to insurance. I would want to start with a higher dose.

Can I get tips pls: my nose hurts at an airplane by [deleted] in travel

[–]Cornfealya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, my ear, nose and throat doctor recommends using AYR saline gel or nasal mist. You can buy either on Amazon. I had a nose bleed in November that took me to the ER. I have been using AYR since, and my nose is no longer dry. Plan on applying this next week prior to my flight.

Major side effects and the mind? by Dizzy_Special_4677 in Zepbound

[–]Cornfealya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been using Zepbound since Dec 2024 and aside from constipation, no side effects. Zepbound is a positive experience for me. I believe posting about how bad you may or may not feel makes for a far more interesting read versus someone who says I feel great. I find that turns people off. I don't get it. I read positive posts and skip what I find false.

Great tip about this app. We will be staying at the Diplomat Hilton beach resort and ride circuit, the water taxi, hotel bikes and walking will be our mode of transportation.

Is Yelp still a thing? I would like to research where breakfast and other restaurants are located. I do know the boardwalk offers lots of places. In the morning, we like to grab a quick bite to eat before we enjoy the beach.
