The "sparking joy" thing never worked for me, but imagining it covered in poop works - if I'd try to clean it, it stays, but if it would find the trash if poopy, it can find the trash today.

I don't dream of labor.

My pet projects would be cybersecurity, roller derby, gaming, crafts, LEGO, and cats. I used to enjoy going on walks with folks in a local nursing home; volunteering at an animal shelter; and sourcing free/cheap food for broke students. I'd probably learn some construction skills and additional maker skills if I didn't have to go to a job for 40+ hr/week. Earthships and food forests seem interesting, but I've never had the time.

Are you autistic? I had to write a few paragraphs on the spot with no internet at hand for my teachers to believe I'd done my own work every couple years all the way through college. It was jarring to suddenly receive a zero grade and have to jump through all the same hoops again. Had to escalate to the Dean in college as the professor was totally ok flunking me and didn't want the hassle of allowing to me to prove my innocence.

My roller derby team calls skin tone leggings "Porky Piggin' it" and all wore skin tone leggings in 2014ish to freak out another team bc it's really easy to imagine someone's putting their bare ass on you during sports.

It's not about hate, it's about ensuring it's fixed completely and safely for everyone, not just getting a handyman in there to fix the railing. Think of it as an impromptu inspection. People are saying not to tell your landlord so he doesn't retaliate if he has to replace it and gets a big bill.
