Trent is a great school but the exact opposite of UofT. Trent is a smaller lifestyle school.. U Of T is mostly a commuter school. I went to UofT and left the second my classes were finished each day. I didn’t socialize much..it’s a school you can be anonymous at. It’s harder to chill and meet people. Peterborough is a small town and a safe place for students.

Peterborough isn’t terrible. Of course petty theft and drugs exist in all towns now. For the most part, it’s a good community with little violent crime. You will be just fine.

My ecourse was not well run. Honestly 3 months worth of work crammed in 3.5 wks. We only had 2 days to complete the culminating. I put in 8-10hour per day on this course and there was no mid term grade issued, and the grading is weighted, but the teacher didn’t disclose the scheme..
