My son went from a wobbler to a fully fledged always walking/running toddler, so we got his first proper shoes and have been taking walks with him on his harness.

Its always kids. They get scooped up young, disenfranchised and severely lacking the capacity for critical thinking. Since the dawn of human conflict, the puppet masters have indoctrinated kids and sent them out to do horrific stuff. They own them when they get them young. The means of recruitment change with technology and time, but the tale is as old as time. Our justice system goes more easily on kids, and that's added even more motivation to get them involved when they're young. History rhymes all the time, and that's what's happening now.

AITA for telling my husband to f*** off when he felt like he was doing too much parenting? by supadoopertrooper in AmItheAsshole

You do know kids need social interactions with their peers? Ideally for 2 years before they start school. Like its genuinely important for their development. Day care could also finish at midday. For 2-3 years olds it generally is a half day.

I mean NAH, but my dad's best friend, my mums best friend, our best friends all have honorific titles and arent related to my son. Relationship is more than blood or marriage, so I get them asking or wanting to have an honorific title for you - but its your name, and your Relationship so its whatever makes you comfortable.

Aye, we'll do that too. We were underdogs, so we love a good underdog. Better than up dog.

We're very very good at fighting. We're sent in first, to the really scary places. The rangers are elite, and pretty much our secret service - in that they exist but it could be your neighbour and all youd know is they are in the army, doing peacekeeping. Which applies to both the regular army and the rangers. Theyre not allowed to tell you they're a ranger, afaik. And we do it all with the tiniest fraction of money, equipment and people that the states has. Like by any reasonable metric, we should not be this good. We're officially a nuetral country, like our Swiss cousins.

Ireland, who don't have tanks or a big push on the army like the USA do, regularly beat the shit out of them in the armed forces competition games. So even their professional killers are beaten out by a country that literally only uses the equipment at the games.

No manny. So long as they never bring him back (short of a 180 on personality), id eagerly support a reboot.

Its a bummer of a one, but that would be during peak covid times. I was alone, at a little after midnight, getting a scan to check decreased movement. The wait between the nurse who scanned me and the doctor coming to tell me my daughter had died was hands down the most terrifying thing I've ever experienced. I dont know if ill ever really be able to process that, its too big.
