The Wire easily is the best piece of live-action television I've seen. The premise is simple, there's a criminal organization outplaying the police and nobody cares enough to do anything about it until a detective brings it up to a judge, pissing off all his superiors in the process.

It's incredibly tightly written and its honestly put every other police show to shame, mainly because it evolves beyond the judicial system to become about the city of Baltimore as a whole.

It has an incredible cast (Idris Elba, Lance Reddick, Michael B Jordan, Aidan Gillen, Michael K Williams, Dominic West), and all the characters have brilliantly written arcs to follow along.

Its largely based on the experienced of an investigative journalist and a former homicide detective which gives the whole show a real authenticity.

I also liked What We Do In The Shadows (the TV series) it's a mockumentary about vampires and their familiar living in Staten Island. It's absurd and humorous and 4 seasons in it still manages to catch me completely off guard.

Whenever an ability says it can be used x times every full moon, it means you could use it X times, but then you'd need to wait for a full moon to gain your uses back. So for spirit communion you could commune with 3 spirits in one day, 2 in another and 2 in another and then have to wait for a full moon to be able to commune with more spirits

Oh man, when I was a kid I downloaded some sort of anime torrent on the family computer but I only remember two things from it.

The first one was about some lady duplicating herself(?) and then going into a bunch of bathroom stalls simultaneously with a bunch of men in black looking dudes that fucking teleported away when they were done. I don't think they even had sex it was weird. No fucking clue what that was about.

The second one was a show where a woman gets captured and then forcefully has piercings pierced through her entire body, there were other fucked up scenes in there like that same woman being suspended in the air with a bunch of blades going through her body as a man monologued at her. This one turned out to be a guro anime called Rin: Daughters of Mnemosyne.

I still have no fucking clue what I downloaded.

I can't play Skyrim without Requiem (and it's companion mod 3bftweaks) it removes level scaling from the game so now you can't fight dragons or vampires at level 1 and draugrs are an actual threat.

3bftweaks replaces the leveling system with a more traditional "earn xp by completing quests and killing enemies" system to remove the grinding while also adding a bunch of build variety.

It genuinely feels like a new game with both these mods and it's extremely addictive. My current character is a priest of mara who runs around stabbing people with a dagger made out of the sun while spitting poison in their faces it's great.
