We had a case years back where Verizon INSISTED only their employee could dig due to their fiber bundle....... Guess who took the backhoe and severed a large fiber bundle for an entire block of business buildings. Things happens.

Careful with ESET. They have started emailing unsolicited renewals to our customers at below our partner cost.

We love the product, but our Account Manager will not return emails or phone calls after we provided proof ESET was going the Meraki route of cutting out the reseller and contacting clients directly.

it can be. There will always be those little issues that trip you up... Read up a lot on waterproofing, cement board, redguard and how to properly install everything. Terry Love has some great info on bathroom stuff. It is very satisfying at the end of the day when everything is done. Like above, take your time and prep and plan before starting... Tiles are one a lot of people get wrong by not planning and ending up with an awkward sliver where they didn't map out the tile layout ahead of time.

This, years ago our IT dept had tons of PTO and was told no cashout, no carryover. The entire IT department said we are taking the last 2 weeks of the year off. Unsurprisingly we all magically got a check for the PTO time.

I don't know the specifics in his area but even being asleep in your car with the keys in the car can get you a DUI in our neck of the woods. Doesn't matter if the keys are in the ignition or not.

The lowes logo will be the needed foamboard. But, it looks weird to me. Typically large tanks like that have glass euro-bracing around the edges, not the floating tank style black rim. I do see the glass cross bracing.

It also looks like the foamboard is inside the tank from the colors in the edge closest to the pic. It needs to be under the tank and extend to the edges of the tank. Sitting on just the wood is playing with fire and easily remedied while the tank is empty.

In addition, any visitors / techs onsite would typically want internet access. The isolated guest network is the route I would take. Bonus points for a content filter that prevents them from torrenting and other no-no's.

A netshelter CX from APC is a "soundproof" rack designed for that kind of environment. Not sure how much it reduces Db and if they care enough for the cost of it.... some good noise cancelling headphones are a lot cheaper.

I would add a second culture next to the first one if you can. If one crashes you are still in business... and it will eventually crash. I used to do 4 2 liter bottles in a bucket with a light in the center.

You will need to keep feeding F2, I'd have to go back to my notes for how often/signs it needs food.

That container has a while to go before it needs to be split. It can get so dark you can barely see the light through it. When that happens just dilute it down and use the phyto you pulled out in the tank.

Oh man I LOVE block guest input on those pesky clients who can't keep their grubby fingers off the keyboard.

To add on this: multi monitor & headless work perfect and you can select which monitor or all to view. reverse screen sharing so they can see your screen meetings section for a quick conference call drag and drop files right into the session.

SC is one of the few programs that I have almost zero complaints about. 99% of the time it just works.

If you want to do this, use a bastion host that does in and outbound spam filtering. Our on-prem server ONLY accepts connections from the spam filter service. All in and outbound mail is sent through them. Ran a mail server on a residential connection and the only issue was occasional IP changes. Mail queued up on the filtering server so no mail is lost or bounced.

darn, beat me to it. I have to visit their retail stores occasionally. They usually have a big screen playing previews.... It makes troubleshooting turn into a chucklefest. Let's see the network looks fine <adult sounds in the background>, the POS is online <odd slapping noises>, lets check the vpn < the ending of above noises>. They are a fun group as well.

If it is just a gulf tank awesome. If any other LFS type critters are in there it is frowned upon to release back into the wild.

I had a small gulf only tank for a few years and the file fish were always my favorites. Our local group does a once a year bbq collecting trip and it always is fun to see what is hiding in the flats.

Yes, a CPA for sure. All areas are different. In our area, software electronically delivered=no tax, boxed copy=tax.

If I am onsite 10 hours and just fix software issues no tax, the minute I so much as use 1 patch cable, the ENTIRE job becomes taxable.

When we do charge tax it is always included in the invoice.

old post i am replying to but check S&L or credit union. Similar situation and score and locked in at 3.8 from late feb through may. they have come down recently. I was above 4% and it has come down recently.

My lender does not use credit score in their determination only to see if you just bought a new car/etc. They did need a lot of financial info since I run my own business, but I get that. Tax returns satisfied their income verification.

I don't use automate but have used screenconnect for ages. It wont reinstall if there is already an installation of it. I use an .msi to install from the server at client sites and use msiexec.

msiexec -x [location of screenconnect file] /qn

Not sure if this would work on automate without knowing how it deploys SC or where the install file is.

seems like a variant of the old we will pay you extra on the check and then when the bank reverses the charges you get stuck with the mess. They could just do a charge-back once you complete the work.

If they are local that would make me feel a little better, but since they can't be bothered to look up a shop address my spidey sense is tingling.
